Okay honey, if you had not ever had sex it cannot be an STD...thank God! Did you scrape it in your zipper? If it is scabbed over, that is good- than it is healing. The redness is probably just part of the healing. If there is drainage, or pus, or it feels hot to the touch, then you should see your doctor. Leave the scab alone and let it heal. Try cleaning it with warm soapy water and pat dry- if you have any neosporin or any kind of antibiotic ointment, apply it on the area being careful NOT to get it directly into the tip/inside. You are very welcome. I am not a doctor by any means, but a nurse and seen a lot of things. Just make sure to get it checked if it doesn't seem to be getting better. I know it is not the easiest subject to seek help for- Take care!
