Hello,
I am 17 and have little reddish pimples on my arms. I had this for few years on the upper arms, but for the past year, I have this on my lower arms and also on my thighs. In winter the situation gets worse. This drives me crazy… not only they look ugly, they are also painful! I do not know what to do!!! Anybody with smart idea?

Hey there, the condition that you have is called keratosis pilaris and it is hereditary. I must tell you this is not curable condition, but it is treatable!!!!
Important is to have a health intake of vitamin A (but do not overdose) to maintain treatment. Do not take baths, but take showers. During showers use quality scrubber that will scrub your bumps.. that may be painful at the beginning, but you shall get used to it after few scrubbings. And now the most important part… use lac-hydrin cream (you can only get this cream on prescription) and apply this after showering (on clean and dry skin). This treatment won’t be a overnight success, you must be aware of that, but within a few weeks, your skin will be much smoother. This therapy helped me and I am giving you this advice and hope it will help you too! One more advice, do not squeeze this pimples, because this will certainly worsen the situation!!
