I have failed the use of two drugs for RA (methotrexate and leflunamide) and now I have been told to consider Remacade by infusion or two other drugs which are administered once or twice weekly by injection.

My nurse advises that the long term effects of Remacade are not yet known but it blocks the chemical in the blood that fights infection.
