Hi all I'm sorry to hear that there are so many people out there that have the same pain in the foot that I have, I was injured at work when ten steel beams fell over and hit me in the leg and slammed me to the floor and bounced off my foot, so what did my boss do no 911 he dragged me into his car and brought me to a work in clinic and took year and a half for the doctors to find out that I had a lisfranc fracture and deep perineal nerve damage. So that lead to reconstructive surgery in 2007 on the foot that made it better but worst so in 2010 I was willing to amputate but due to being on the worst insurance in the world called workers comp they put me thru hell with 27 independent medical doctors 7 being psychiatric doctors and meds after meds after meds finally ending up on fentanyl and maxed out on anticonvulsive. So in march of 2010 they wanted to try a spinal cord stimulator first so I did and that worked for the most part it got me off all my meds. So now in 2013 I am still thinking of getting a lisfranc amputation due to the pain level in my toes it feels like and alien force is in my foot it is not my foot it is something out of this world in my foot so I'm thinking of doing this thru the winter and hoping spring brings me my live back and if not than I feel that its going to be a bullet that will take the pain away that's where I'm at! So my question is has anyone out there gotten any relief from a lisfranc amputation?
Thanks all and hope you find the light,
