my husband had his gallbladder out on july 6 2009. It will be two weeks tomorrow and he is still having pains on his right side around one of the insicions. He was in so much pain i had to take him back to the hospital a week later. They done two ct scans and blood work and everything showed normal. They gave him pain meds. and a muscle relaxer, it has helped alot, but it is still hurting him. Just not as bad. Do you have an answer??
Hi there, if your husband is still experiencing pain, that is not entirely normal two weeks after surgery! HOw bad is the pain that he's feeling, say on a scale of 1 to 10? Do you think that you can go back to the doctors again?
I have had pain in the same area now for 8 years on and off. I am in the middle of an episode right now. On the scale of 1-10 it's about an 8. I have had all kinds of tests and scans, and the doctors do not know what is wrong. I had my gallbladder removed about 25 years ago. The pain is intense and radiates to the back, it hurts to take a deep breath ,walk and do just about anything else. Nothing I do brings it on and nothing helps releave the pain. I wish I had some answers.
