I had a Inginiual Hernia which was done Microscopic at Memorial Herman in Sugarland, TX and the day after it was done I had a heart attack which led me to a Double By-Pass Prior to this NO issues but all of the sudden these two major procedures.. I need suggestion to was this due to the hernia mesh that might of caused the heart attack.

I had a right inguinal hernia repair @ 6 years ago. Laparascopic. The post op period was terrible for pain in the groin and into the right testicle and I had an electric shooting pain into the right side of the scrotum and penis during sex. I also couldn't sit down without severe shooting electric pain shooting down the medial thigh on the operated side. This lasted for about 6-8 weeks and eventually went away.
Now, @ 6 years later, out of nowhere, I developed the exact same pain which shoots down my medial thigh any time I try to raise my right leg ..... I can't sit down without severe pain in the leg, same if I even try to raise it. No scrotal pain this time. Spine xrays show nothing relevant. No trauma or lifting injuries. Been going on now for @ 5 months.......original surgeon wants scrotal ultrasound.... I don't see why...that's not where the pain is. Gabapentin, no effect. OTC and narcotic analgesics , no effect. What do you think?

I just realized that I have pains on my testicle which goes on and off. I had surgery for hernia two years ago and am surprised by this pain. I feel it more when I sit. What does this mean?
