i have had this numbness in my right thumb for three days now what could cause this ?
Have you tried to do anything about it, like shaking your hand or massaging it? If you have, did that make any difference at all? It’s hard to guess what it can be, or what could you do to fix this without knowing more details, but generally, problem could be anywhere –from your elbows and shoulders, to your back and brain. And it definitely makes a difference to know how old are you, or if you spend serious amounts of time sitting. Have you ever had any problems with your back? If it doesn’t go away, or reaper again, it would be good if you visited at least a chiropractor.
