Good afternoon gentlemen. I have had these demonic scrotal cysts since early high school. I am now 24 and there are virtually none. Now keep in mind I used to have around 50 very-small-to-medium sized ones and maybe 5 big ones at the height of the scrotal cyst empire. How did I conquer these fuckers? Self removal. I have no scars by the way (over time they all heal, even the big incisions.)

Tools:
Xacto Knife
HOT water
Paper towels
Bandages/Bandaids
COURAGE

Since I decided to man-up and remove all of them around... 4 years ago, it's been smooth-sailing ever since. I removed them in stages/sections, with 1-2 weeks of healing time for each section in between sections. It took a few months to remove all of them myself, nice and steady wins the race.

Since then every few months I inspect my scrotum. Every now and then I notice a tiny 'soft' one come out, with a quick squeeze they are gone faster than normal pimples and 0 blood. If I notice there are any 'hard' small ones, I pull out the knife and make a small smile-shaped half-slit around the circumference of the cyst and squeeze it out without popping it till the whole sac is outside the first layer of skin, then I just rip/pull the sac out, root/seed and all. It takes maybe 10 seconds. Think of it as a preventative process. In general, the rate of growth goes down significantly as I age, or maybe because I killed all their neighbors? Who knows. Anyways, I feel free mentally and physically now.

There is NO reason for you not to remove these, especially if you only have small/medium sized ones. They are easy once you do one. It's the big ones that are a blood-bath. But even then, be a man and show those fuckers whose boss. I know I did, and damn it feels good. Look good, feel good, as they say.

Now you may say I am crazy for not using antiseptic etc. but to me it's useless. During the process I remain clean, focused, and calm. Hot water from the faucet is all I need, and I've never had a single issue. To avoid scars, I cut small pieces off of the bandage so that I have several adhesive-only strips. I then use the strip to pull the skin tightly back over the cut so that it heals nice and perfect. I have been doing this for a while now.

The only reason I posted this is because I had to remove a small 'hard' one just now and it was so easy that I remembered how I used to suffer and agonize over these things when I was younger. So I hope this wall of text can help those of you who are too scared to do anything, or those of you who keep listening to garbage doctors who keep telling you "it's normal." It's not f*****g normal. The only thing that's normal is your strong desire to get rid of them. So follow that desire and GET IT DONE.

Onwards Men.

Heh heh, kudos to the previous guest poster above for a barnstorming entry.

I've had this thread bookmarked for a year, and thought it was about time to share my (ongoing) story.

The first scrotal cyst I had hit me at the age of 28. It was small, red and hard, unlike any normal spots/acne I had ever known. I fiddled around with it until one day it broke open. All I remember is a little blood, and all that's left there is a small, darkish piece of skin.

However, soon after this, another cyst started growing just a few millimetres away from where the original had been. In hindsight, I wish I'd killed the mofa there and then. Unfortunately, I let it grow. It got bigger and bigger and, as you do, I kept squeezing and tugging at it. Now, three years on, it is the size of the top half of my thumb. It hands off my scrotum like a sad sac; it is pinkish and has that tough, rubbery shell. No pain, no itching...it's just there. Gah!

I'm still in two minds over what to do. I hate, hate, hate going to the doctor, and I especially don't like the idea of paying a large fee to get it removed, nor the possibility of having to book a second appointment with a hospital for it to be done. Equally, though, I lack the courage to hack at it with a knife, especially considering its size and the fact it is the only one I have.

Hell, I don't know...

I do know this, though: if I see any more of the bastards turn up, I *will* go at them with a knife immediately, rather than ever let them get to this point again.

I've had one of these for a while and finally decided to get rid of the f****r. So, I took an exacto blade and made a tiny slit at the very top of the thing and used my nails to squeeze down on either side of that slit. It got most of the pus out and i went until all i got was blood. The pus was kinda hard and was more like what you get out of the little pimples you find on the scrotum. I put peroxide on it and it really wasn't that painful.

i used a cigarette lighter. I burned enough than I could see it right under the skin and squeezed. Stuff came out and then I had to used some force pulling out the remainder. Heat seems to soften it up. It is a painful process but it seems to work.

awesome man. I have had this thing on my nuts for over a decade. at this point it was the size of a small grape. I broke the top layer of skin, which kinda hurt. then I kept going until I felt another painless "pop". At that point I wrenched that pin around, grabbed the base of it , and squeezed toward the hole. it was immediate and pretty gross, but mission accomplished. the whole thing came out inside-out, the sac and everything else was now external. from there I slowly drained it til only the sack remained, and slowly tugged at it while cutting off chunks with precision scissors. When cutting the sac, if there is pain, you have gone too far. at least I think, kinda the first time I done this. hopefully I got it all so I dont gotta do it again, but sure as f**k it aint gettin that big again.

I had my first one when I was in 10th grade..little smaller than a pea.  Asked my mom "when is my next physical, I "NEED" to go" (for those of you younger and embarrassed just use this wording). she scheduled one and I went.  Recommended me to dermo, we went to him and he cut it out.  Then, I got 1 more a few years later, been there for like 4 years now same size. IM SO SICK OF LOOKING AT IT and worrying if a girl will see.  I live on my own now in a new city, so I googled dermos around the area and called 2 hours ago and set up and appointment. I go 9AM tmrw where I will have it looked at.  Hopefully they can remove it.  I will let you all know how much it costs when I find out.

ok im the same poster as the above message^^^

so went to the dermo at 9am today...really awkward because of course there had to be a nurse that helps him..and she was young..and hot...and i sat in the room and she asked "why i was here"... :(  embarrassing..i said for a "skin check"...and she said any particular place? and i had a nervous laugh/smile and said "yeah"..and then she kinda got the hint and explained she wouldnt be in the room when he checked it out.

anyway, $20 copay, surgery is 8am in exactly 21 days...ill come back and let you all know how much it cost when i know..and how the surgery goes.  what a pain in the ass.  but i will feel mentally relieved once it's gone.

ok I'm the guest from the earlier posts above.  surgery was today..its gone f*****g FINALLY. i have stitches in that will be removed in 10 days. only bad part of the surgery was numbing the area with the needle.  at least it's over now.  i still dont know how much it will cost or if my insurance is just covering the whole thing.  I will come back here one last time when or if I get a bill.  Hope you all really go to a dr. instead of doing it yourself. cheers.

Hi everyone, I think I'm the first female to write on here. My boyfriend of several months has these, or so we think they're cysts. When we first started getting intimate he told me not to be scared and explained what was on his genitals. I wasn't at all grossed out. It's not contagious. It's not an std. So I honestly didn't care. We have a healthy sex life. Now you must wonder why I'm on this thread... You see, I don't know if it's painful for him :/ and one time we were at his friends place. They got drunk and the pea+ sized bumps on him were brought up. He had mentioned wanting them removed, so now I'm just curious and looking for ways we can remove them. I have an exacto knife and so forth but I don't know if I should bring up this removal topic.

Would you guys be overally ashamed if your girlfriend had brought up the topic of removing them? Pretty much I'm wondering if you all think I should ask him if he wants me to help him try to remove them. He has about 15-20 and they all seem around pea sized or so...

Hey bunny,

Im the previous poster above who just went to the dr to have mine removed.. stitches in for 6 more days, and it was all totally painless, even after the numbness wore off. anyway, why dont u suggest going to the dermatologist with him? im sure he would agree to go and you guys wont be stressed doing it yourself, and within a months time they would all be gone and healed up. I wouldnt suggest removing 20 yourselves..
