if you dont have the balls to do that check out other treatments at the sebacious prominence forums (google search it)
i dont have any on top of my penis but underneath and along the "shaft" and alot on the balls.
I have tried popping them which resolves with nothing but scabs or a painfull penis... (lol)
I recently tried using clearasil like that guy above posted but it hasnt seem to do anything for me ,maybe it reduced the size a little...
I'm just going to hope doctors create some sort of cure for this ... so many people with this problem and not even a cure... :-(
The way my boyfriend controls them is by soaking them with a hot washcloth for 15 minutes 3 times a day. It works for the most part. They don't ever really go away unless you get them removed by a doctor. DO NOT REMOVE THEM YOURSELF!!!!!! It would be a lot harder to explain the hole in your member than a small white bump.
Take care!!
Oh, and I am going to a conference on SP soon with my boyfriend, so I'll let you guys know what I find out there.
I have had this quite badly for about 2 years - or at least i've had a complex about it for 2 years...
I tried everything - been to doctors - skin therapists and no one could help - i thought there was no hope untill i just thought about the problem and found a simple way of treating it.
One very important rule is that your skin needs to be kept clean and breathable -
This is what i did to make them go away -
Hot water - soak it in as hot water as u can stand twise a day. Baths are good.
After you've done this - or even after you've had a shower - dry it completely with a towel.
Tooth paste(just regular white toothpaste) - rub in some toothpaste the affected areas - i usually do this at night because it gets quite irritating. Apply toothpaste every time you soak or winky - i did it usually once a day - or after shower before i go to bed.
Do this a week - you'll notice it starts to get very dry and quite sore - not painfull but sore. this is your skin peeling but at the same time the hot water is softening the glands allowing the spots to reduce in size.
After one week go out and by these products - can get them from boots for exampe
- Clearasil ultra - deep pore treatment wash
- Oxy (new) - emergency zit blitz pads
- then get some kind of night treatment cream - i got Boots' own teatree and witchhazel night treatment gel.
Now you can stop wit the toothpaste.
keep going with the baths and hot water, but start washing it with the clearasil wash. after you've fully dried it - use the pads and give it a gentle rub down.
do this for as long as it takes, a few weeks - itll start getting less dry and you'll notice they have gone/ starting to go away.
just remeber the hot water is very important
hope it goes well for you - iv suffered big time with this so i thought id spend some time n help ya out!!
peace
when i found out i had it through my doctor, i ask him if there was a way to get rid of it. he told me it wasn't something to be worried about, and that it was non-threating. But he did say, if you really want to get rid of them, the way they usually do it is by applying a cream which numbs the penis, and basically poking out the Sebaceous with a needle (usually the one for taking blood out because there thicker then needles use to inject vaccines). I know it works because when my doctor inspected me and told me what it was, he also scrapped/poked one of them out to test (along with a blood sample, *yeah, it will bleed a little*) it in the lab to see what it was in case it wasn't Sebaceous. a couple days later the Sebaceous he had poked out was literally gone. so now i'm going back to get the rest removed.
and to the one id**t who said he would rather get genital warts then put up with Sebaceous, really doesn't realize how sever HPV is. HPV can stick with you for life and doesn't have a cure at all.
Listen up! a cure that works!!!! :)

gonna try this out
I have had SP since i was 16, im 24 now and it has gotten more prominent but not excessivley worse. I remember how i figured out what was causing mine, or at least what was encouraging it. anywayhere goes.
Do not were polyester boxers, it has to be 100% cotton loose fitting, you will be suprised how important this is and how much polyester clothing influences your sp. I first notice it when i went on holiday abroad and when i cam home i notice my sn had almost vanished. Then it twigged. I was wearing swim shorts with mesh for the whole two weeks, no poly boxers, also the bed sheets in the hotel were 100% breathable cotton. Try it, i am telling you that althought the oxy 10 will / benzoy peroxide creams will work, but only if you help them by changing your choice of clothin/linens.
once you have the boxers sorted then start using the toothpaste, i would add it before bed, now this isnt the remedy this will just completely dry you penis out and allow you a base in which u can start your acned treatments. Shower twice a day, never go to bed sweaty, that when the pores get blocked, this is why the choice of cotton boxers will help - it doesnt matter if your boxers say 65 cotton35% polly....in short if they have polyester in then all the acne cream is pointless as it will only act as a short term fix.
To all the younguns that feel disheartend, stick with it, you body will eventualy help u if u help it. also, bottle of water should be the last thing you do before bed, you need fluids to dilute the secretion during th enight. also getting into a habbit of jumping in a sauna once or twice a week will also help in the long term. This allows you body to secrete all your toxins and bacteria evenly. then the sweat produced around your crutch wont contain any were near the same ammount of bacteria.
add these lifestyle changes to the oxy 10 methods mentioned earlier and within a few weeks your pecker will start to appear smoth and not as bumpy. the spots dont stay for ever the body will secrete the c**p eventualy, you just need to make sure that your enviroment is sound so that they don re-appear. I found it also helps to use hair removal cream on my balls as this allows for less sweat when my penis is hanging naturaly agains my balls. Talk in the morning and evening aswell. and only jerk off in the shower, that way you are not leaving any nasty sweaty excretions on the surface of your penis. last but not least, girls dont really notice, ive never had a problem.
BUT TRUST ME ON THE POLYESTER BOXERS AND BED SHEETS, WHEN I AM AROUND THE HOUSE I TEND NOT TO WEAR BOXERS AS THIS KEEPS MY PARTS NICE AND VENTALATED.
hOPE THIS HELPS!
Can you please give guidence on how often u applied this and how long it took for yours to go away?
Any more info on how and how long u took it would be great :)
thanks
