You obviously have never been cheated on or lied to. Must be great in your world. In ours, however, we look for red-flags like semen in underwear. Especially since our sex lives have been lacking and our partners are distant and unaffectionate. While I agree it is extreme, and obsessive, it is a perfectly normal reaction to being betrayed. And, before you say "just leave if it comes to that...' you obviously have never been in love either. The conflict of having your heart ripped out but loving someone so deeply that you try to overcome the distrust but are overwhelmed when something slightly shady happens.
