I take 100 mg of seroquel every night & 1 half every morning for mood disorder, im having trouble sleeping and eating everytime I get up I throw up. I also have fever and very bad stomach pains how long does it take to make me feel better im 14 yrs old please help?

I'm a science writer for The Washington Post doing reporting on off-label uses of seroquel and the "hidden" side effects people suffer while on it and/or withdrawing from it. i would love to talk to anyone who has suffered or still is suffering from those effects -- whether its restlessness and anxiety, or a movement disorder, or type-2 diabetes.

Hey there I'm having the same problem I have been off it for 18 day was taking it for a month dose it go away o just think weird stuff all day first was to kill my self the now it kinda going a way but I just think weird

I have recently been prescribed this for bi polar depression, on top of lamictal and clonazopam......My doctor recommended this to me for a substitute for having to take several klonopin for insomnia during manic episodes. I hate it. It gives me horrible indigestion, stomach aches, nausea, and jaw clenching followed by horrible headaches in the a.m. This is all after just a few days of the drug. This is not s good drug and I hate that they want to replace the klonopin even tho it works wonderfully for me with literally no side effects. I am stopping it now. Why do doctors try to change up perceptions when you find they work. It's like hey oh klonopin is working for you but you have to take a few more then they'd like. Well here's this shitty drug instead.

Just cut from 400 to 300 to 200 last week now stopped thur night.. didn't sleep.. the neck pain/stiffness, nausea was so bad, had to sleep last night.. took a 25 seroquel, tylenol 3 , 2 tylenol xtra and got 5 glorious hours ,, but now... I am up and the pain .tingling and nausea is coming back big time.. anyone out there? need to talk

I am have been taking seroquel for years now and trying to stop. But I have a spitting problem when I try to quit and my saliva taste different. Also a lot of belching. Feels as if my digestive system off balance if I try to quit or probably my body detoxing. However I hope I will learn to sleep again.

Serequel stoppage has taken me to the edge of death ; Heart flutters ; No sleep ; Can't eat for weeks! The worst part is that the doctor doesn't believe me ! I wish I could torture him to death ! He deserves as bad as he does out!!!!!!!!!!

I would be happy to talk to you. I had experienced surprisingly) harsh withdrawal symptoms after either missing a dose of Seroquel, and when simply cutting back my dosage.

I am on 400 mg everynight for sleep, nightmares and flashbacks. Side affects I have experienced are increased cholesterol and cataracts. I also have a fine tremor which makes it hard to button buttons or put keys in the door. The benefits far outweigh the side effects.
