Omg thank goodness I've seen all these questions and concerns. My itching has started the same this last few weeks. I have tried various things and creams. I tend to agree it could be over tiredness and stress related potentially. It could be a changing lifestyle - I've recently begun cycling after nearly 30 years off a bike and am working on fitness after a couple of years of too sedentary a lifestyle and my work making me sit too long in a day. Will be back on again if I crack it! Jonners

I had that when I was pregnant. It had to do with the liver. I was the palms of my hands and feet. I too would rub them on the carpet, and literally chew my feet. It was worse at night. I believe it was called PUPPS for my first pregnancy, but since my second child I still have severe itching on my stomach and breasts only. No dry skin, no rash, nothing. Severe itching. Till I bleed. My liver checked out fine this time though... so frustrating.

But as for the palms of the hands and feet- see a ND or some specialist that doesn't only care if you're WAY outta wack. The people who seek balance and have them check your liver in a detailed fashion.

Good luck!

I've had this for 2 years and it drives me crazy!! Like, itch with a knife, scrape my skin off crazy. Left foot only; it started out on the sides and bottom, but has moved several times. Usually no rash, sometimes it's dry and cracked, maybe an occasional bump or 2. At first I thought it was athlete's foot, but none of the creams, sprays, or powders worked. This summer I finally went to the dermatologist and he said it was eczema, but the cream he gave me didn't work. I usually itch it on the registers on the floors in my house, but the best itch is the lids to the large storage containers. Hope any of you have any updated info or cures!

Have you tried the Candida diet or paleo? It cuts out sugar and the foods that fungus can feed on. Mine went away with diflucan, but is back. It is Halloween time and I'm eating a lot of candy, so I'm seriously wondering if it could be some kind of bacterial/fungal overgrowth.

Have been Paleo for a while and it definitely helps, but not enough. Just started taking much larger doses of krill oil and milk thistle Tincture, and already I've noticed an improvement. My ND wanted me on 750 mg Omega 3, and I'm at like half of that (hate pills), but still improvement. And not remembering to do all the milk thistle or Apple cider vinegar add in supposed, but hopeful with the noticeable results.

For milk thistle- 2 droppers full, 3x day
750 mg Omega 3
Acv 1-3T day in water
Good luck everyone. Seriously, up the omega 3. Amazing.

I finally got rid of my itchiness! At least 750 (mg?) Of good quality fish oil. Everyday. The omega 3s at a high dose under supervision and prescription from my ND. OVER 2 YEARS AND NOTHING HELPED... TILL NOW! so thankful.... Yay.

Please listen up!!! I have a possible solution! Try it for a few days and you will see, it can't hurt right? Ok, take non drowsy Claritin in the morning, Tagament Acid reducer (has a histime blocker) evening time and zyrtec before bed. Explanation is, if this works for you, go to an Allergist to be tested!! I am an allergy patient, severe allergies... I am my doctors most allergic patient!!! Anyways, lately my feet have been severely itching me like crazy and driving me nuts, with no rash or bumps... sooooo I decided to do my allergy regimen and wala, it worked... It returns when i consume certain foods... so I do my regime again and what a coincidence, it works continously!!

It could be drinks with Red 40. I was drinking large amounts of red gatorade, during 100 degree heat. I had the horrible feet itching. The itching improved within 12 hours and was gone after 24-48 hours. I figured this out by researching. The Dr's had no clues or answers.

My sister works for a foot doctor and she says to put your feet in ice water for awhile, it works great for her.
