My 15 yr. old daughter has had severe pain with vomiting and a small amount of spotty bloob in the first release of vomit for a year this month. She has seen a gastrointerologist for a year now and they have done a HIDA scan, CT scan, ultra sounds, a camera down her stomach, a biopsy of her stomach tissue, gastric empting, lots of blood work and possibly other tests I cant think of the names for. I spoke with the office today and they said they have taken all the tests there are and they cant find anything wrong. Her symptoms besides severe pain and vomiting with blood are a shooting pain that radiates up from her appendics and acid reflux. The reflux is under control with acid reducer. When the pain gets the most severe her feet go numb. The Dr's. seem at a loss, I'm at a loss. I know this is real I just dont know what to ask the Drs. to do now. Can you help?
hi i am a 17 year old female and i started getting severe pains about 2 years ago and i use to vomit a lot this went on for a few months then i had blood tests which were showing abmormality to my liver i had to go for an ultra sound and i was diagnosed with gal stones the pain i suffer at the moment is horrific and i am awaiting an operation to have my gal bladder removed have your daughter been tested for gal stones if she hasnt its worth seeing if that is the problem the symptoms i have are i vomit, shooting pains in my gal bladder and severe pain in my back.
i think it could be a gall stone that is causing the problem....
infact im 22 and 2 years back i used to get severe pain in my tummy - right in the centre and i didnt know wat it was.Twice in my sleep and the third time it happened right after a meal....and it didnt go. Apparantely i had worms and one had crawled up, got stuck and died!it accompanied vomitting and severe pain in the back and mid tummy area. i had to have an endoscopy done to get it cleaned and i was better soon after. you could check her up for those 2 things..

Gal Stones for sure.
My mom has 2 this size: o
and shes getting surgery once she has unbearable pain. Her puke was yellowish. Her stomach was all messed up. We waited HOURS in the ER waiting for the doctor to get her (About 2hrs waiting) Then she had to stay the night and my grandma did not come out of the doors until 3-4hrs later.
I suggest taking your daughter to the doctor ASAP. It'll just keep going on. Ask her if she feels dehydrated as well. And make sure she does not drink water. My mom did and she puked evan MORE.

Just had my gallbladder removed. With me and my mom they couldn't detect that we had a diseased gallbladder with the same tests that your daughter has had run. She needs to see a General Surgeon tell them what is going on and that she has a sluggish gallblader because the gallbladder only acts up at certain times.
