Hi, I have the same pain in my right side. Everytime we have sex its there! I also get a cramp like pain in my hip & have been bleeding every two weeks since november 2010. Ive had an Ultrasound today but wasnt told anything (dunno if thats a good sign??) other than my gp will get the report. Im seeing a hip specialist next week as i have a pelvic problem (yet to be diagnosed) from having SPD with my 2 children. Im starting to wonder if its all linked.

Luckily, so far, my drs have been very helpful and want to find out whats wrong as im only 28.

Getting fed up with no answer to the problem tho!

I hope everyone who has been on here is feeling ok

Nat xx

i have just been reading the above posts and i am 26 years of age and i have started getting really bad pain when i orgasm.  i had a colposcopy over 3 weeks ago which i found rather painful for cervix erosion and my doctor has changed my pill to a higher estrogen dose. does anyone know if this has anything to do with it as i have never had problems with this type of pain before?  its so bad that i cant sit, i cant lie and i have to take ibuprofen and wait for it to pass. im not sure how to approach my doctor about this as its rather embarassing as im sure most of you know. id really appreciate any feedback and if i get answers i will let you know

I am a 17 year old male, and me and my girlfriend were about to have sex, and my penis didnt even get 3 centimeters in, and she said it felt like she was getting stabbed in the stomach, keep in mind she is still a virgin, i dont know if this is something serious, or if it is just the pain of having sex for the first time.  I need answers ASAP people!  im afraid to have sex with her because i dont know if this is something serious!

I am glad to have found this discussion. I am a 26 year old female and also have intense pain when climaxing. It feels like terrible menstrual cramps or something along those lines. It really makes what should be pleasant a horrible experience. I am glad I am not the only one and I hope one day we get answers.

I get a really bad pain in my lower stomach whenever I have sex with some one who is bigger than 8 1/2 inches. But only when I'm on top facing them or when we do it doggy style. Any other way I'm fine and any size smaller I'm fine but when I have sex with some one larger than 8 1/2 and in those two positions it is a terrible pain that goes away if he puls out and we do a different position but still it kind of kills the mood a little especially for me because the only way I'm able to climax is by riding them facing them =|

i too have had that horrible stabbing pain and it was painful i couldnt even cry even though i wanted to, it took my breath away, a couple months later I had found out that I had cells turning cancerous in my cervix. Once i had lazer radiation to remove the bad cells it was fine and Ive been fine since so make sure you get a very good check up.

I am regretably happy to know I am not the only one with these symptons. I have been for an ultra sound and nothing to worry about. I thought maybe it was the coil I have? I seams strange that its mainly 22-25 year olds and only some times? I have been put on some irritable bowl tablets that are an antispazmotic. This seams to have helped. Not sure if it may be beacuse you need a poo? Normally I feel all bloted and my insides feel swolen untill I come. Though tonight I have the pain in my bellybutton and its gone really sensitive! Very strange. I'm at the doctors next week to get my coil out so will ask again then but it seams to be a normal phonominom - being a woman sucks some times but I hope u and I are all ok x

hi. i am 23  and have poly cystic ovaries and i am on the pill (due to the irregular periods). i also sometimes find a problem to digest and have regular bowl moments, (but eating a yoghurt daily does the trick) i have been experiencing the same lower abdominal or womb pains during and after sex. it all started with my last bf. i honestly thought it was because he was larger then my only other partner previous to him.it started with some pain during and pain after intercourse. one time the pain during sex was so strong, we had to stop and i was going to faint. it lasted around an hour. not a good experience. after that we realised i had less pain if we had sex in the missionary position and gently. but the pain after climax where always there. i am now single, and i am even more worried, as i am in pain even after masturbation. even if it is just clitoral stimulation. the pain will come and go for a few DAYS! this is not normal. the pain is unbearable especially if i have a climax a day or 2 before my period starts. i am giving alot of personal information in hope that someone might have my same exact symptoms, who found out what it is, and maybe a cure.

I too am a 21 yr old female eith polycystic ovaries and i feel the same pain. it's normally on the right side of my abdomen and usually right at the point of climax or leading up to
it. i told my specialist, and all she said was, 'it might be the position you're in when you have sex' ($160 help advice right there...) i too would love to know any way to reduce the severity of this pain as I feel it is conflicting with my relationships and personal happiness.

hi, i am having the same problem!!!
every time me and my fiance have rough, dirty sex it feels like a sharp, sudden, and immediate pain in my lower abdomin. i am confused because his penis is only 3.5 inches long. and when i asked my doctor what was wrong she was a little confused about the size. and also told me that i wasn't producing enough lubricant and that it created a "sand-paper" like feeling for him. if u have any ideas is to why i have this pain let me know. thank you

I am 24, been in a sexual relationship with my partner for 6 yrs and have recently (past year or so) had pains in my right hand side which come and go. The 1st time I told my gp he sent me straight to A&E saying it could be my appendix. Since then I have seen him a few times, had an ultrasound done, scans, all sorts and no-one can find anything :( The last time I saw him he sent me to a specialist for a colonoscopy which ended up as a 5 minute conversation for the specialist to tell me I have IBS without checking anything or asking me anything relevant and my GP had said it was probably psychological. What is with these Doctors?? I have spent nights woken by pain and crying until i could fall asleep again through the pain, and he thinks its psychological? I now don't know what to do. I refuse to go back to my GP but the pain is still there.
