So odd. I can totally relate. I"ve had terrible pain, left side. Spreads into left thigh even. Started two plus years ago. Just resently the pain happens more often and with more intensity. Yesterday, I finally went to the hospital, while experiencing the pain, and I have a xray done, whoch showed nothing abnormal. Waiting on an ultersound this week. I also have other oddities, a floating kidney, now stationary right front side an redundant bowel and three cysts, two being on my left side. Any suggestions?!

I HAVE ONE SOLUTION Hey I've had similar issues. I've been threw every test out there and know one knows what it is. I amm 21 and have had the issue since I was 14. The pain usually occurred at night but even in the day sometimes. I would get them once a month mostly. The pain would be so bad I would vomit. The pain would usually spread to my back and last for hours. I went to the ER one time during one of the episodes and they ended up removing my appendix. After that I haven't had the issue for almost a year! I asked the doctors if that could have been the issue and they said no. But as far as I'm concerned the pain is gone.

I'm twelve and I always get these really bad pains in my stomach like cramps but worst. I seem to get them almost every month. I went to a hospital and they said its caused by my period but I only got it once after a week the pain went away.... and I now I have it again and I will get chills and a fever at some times. It hurts really bad I can't even cry. And what ever I eat I throw up even water.. and the pills I take to help my stomach. Can someone plzz tell me how they stop the pain?

Hey! I have been having similar issues for close to 2 years now. have undergone every possible diagnostic test but nothing out of the ordinary. have tried a variety of diet but still can't find the common factor that might be triggering this. have you had any luck isolating the cause or better, a way of treating this? would greatly appreciate any info!
Cheers!

I had same thing for about a year and they had me on Prilosec and checked gall bladder and for ulcers but I kept getting them every 6-8 weeks. I finally went in during attack and after ct scan they ended up taking out my appendix too.

I don't know about the others but your situation sounds like hereditary angioedema.  It looks like steroids help.

Hi I have the same problem you have, started a little over a year ago, happens 1,5 - 2 months (i read some people have it only every 6 months, be thankful) I take like 10 baths in those 10 hours it lasts to try to feel better. I went to the ER they said i'm fine, i had some researches and they didn't find anything. Is this still undiagnosed? All i'm reading about are symptoms, no answers

Baths helped my pain to and it would last a little under 12 hours. I can't stress enough that I haven't had an issue in over a year since my appendix was removed. As stated earlier it would happen usually once a month and that went on for years.
