This is exactly my situation too! It's awful to know that this pain will come back again in a few months whenever I finally get over it.

I had frequent stomach pain almost every month starting with dull pain and gradually increasing.. In a span of 4 hours the frequency increases and start getting muscle contraction like Labour pain though I am a male.. I was struggling since 13 years to find out the right diagnose and apparently have removed my gall bladder.. However no result or relief.
Finally this year I took a chance to remove my appendicitis as nothing was showing in all test result and only mild swollen of appendix and that too during pain... Rest all days I was fit and perfect. This pain experience was very severe first day and rest 3 days stomach swollen like a gut in my stomach on the extreme right.
Have done appendectomy in March 2016 and by God grace I am normal now.. It's 4 months now.
My sincere advice if nothing is diagnose the first target to get appendectomy...
All the best.

I had my gallbladder removed because of the pain and that was not the problem. I still have the attacks. :(

Like you I have my gallbladder removed in July 2015, I didn't have any more attacks until March 2016. So, unfortunately my stomach pain is not related to the gallbladder low erection issue.

Was your pain in the center of your stomach? Above your belly button? That is where mine is.

We have the exact same symptoms. I have had all type of tests with negative results. However, per the doctor I had pre-cancerous cell in my uterus and that may be the issue so they removed it, the pain came back after a hysterectomy and then the doctors came with gallbladder issues " low ejection" that removed the gallbladder and I still have the same pain. Im in a really bad pain, as I type this message with no solution. Let me know if you get a real diagnosis and treatment

i have severe pain every 1-2 months, sometimes more often. if it starts, i have act soon when, because otherwise i spend a night in hospital on a drip. it occured when i was 18 for first time (now i'm 40) so I'm pretty much experienced :-) what helps somehow: hot bath, movement (like couple of kilometres of running, half an hour of rowing machine, etc. - lot of movent till exhaustion) and Algifen Neo drops - so it's called here in Czech Republic, the drug is Metamizolum natricum monohydricum. I use double then recommended (normal dose doesn't work) and i need 2-3 such doses with 2-3 hours pauses between. When i manage to fall asleep then , it's a win. If someone has better procedure, I'll appreciate that. Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.

My symptoms sounds the EXACT same as yours. It started when I was 18 and since then (I am now 20) I have been getting severe abdominal pain along with horrible and consistent vomiting episodes and cold sweats that last 1-2 days every single month since the first time it happened at 18. I too can only have an appetite by using marijuana (various forms) and it seems to be the only thing that subsides my pain and nausea. I have been to doctors during my episodes as well as afterwards for blood work and H Pylori test however every doctor is telling me that it is from stress and that it sounds "normal" to them. Sorry but this is not normal. If a patient is clearly in pain and is concerned DO SOMETHING. Don't send them on their way telling them their scary ass symptoms are perfectly normal. How am I supposed to plan my life, my work, and school when I could wake up one morning and be head in bucket for 2 days? I hope some of you have found answers as I am still trying to find them myself.

Wow, nice to find this thread. Gotta add mine to the list. maybe one day a doctor will find this and figure some sh*t out for us.

I know that people say "you know, you're not the only one going through this" and that is supposed to help because it could always be worse... but when i look down the list i feel so bad. so much suffering everyone is suffering so much!!! fuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

anyways,

I'm 28 year old Male. I started getting these sort of episodes like 6-8 months ago. I have crohns disease. but this doesnt feel like my Crohn's. it has such a defined pattern, that does not go with what i am used to for my condition. that said ive been feeling very stressed and that can make everything worse... It could just be an exacerbated inflamed condition but then why do you guys have it?? so many people without a history of Crohn's here...

It does not feel normal. im like all of you ive gone through many tests and nothing is ever found. i beg for something to show up so they can treat it but it never happens. I went to the ER they said nothing was wrong. gall bladder scan, mri blood test, parasite test..

every 1-1.5 months i get severe growing cramps and gas in a part of my intestine, which is not always the same spot. Can be my surgery site where my ilium used to be or like now at my descending colon. Tender to the touch. I can't pass gas I can't sh*t though i desperately want to. The pain grows and grows to my full intestine and stomach. I'm still sort of hungry though which is strange... I can sort of eat but I dont usually it causes some pain and im worried it will not help as .. i cannot sh*t. The pain is really terrible. feels like tons of gas. this goes on for about 5 days. im basically useless. bedridden . it sloooly get better then goes a way. i feel amazing after like i could run a marathon... that feeling after you are really sick is so good. when you an again stand up straight. what a thing.

i medicate with marajuana edibles. cbd is good.

good luck to everyone. i will say for me i believe this has a large emotional component.... or that our food is poison in america and we forgot how to eat and live....ooooor we are just some genetically unlucky sonsofbitches. goodnight everybody!

Hi everyone, chiming in from Canada.

I also just had an episode last night which prompted my search today.

-first episode at age 14, ER dr was convinced it was ovulation
-has been happening intermittently (~ every 8 weeks) for literally 18 years (I'm 32 now).

For me, my primary concern user to always my back.

-onset is a nagging feeling that I can do a giant full-body stretch and my back will crack & feel better, but it never does
-feel extremely bloated, stomach becomes hugely distended
-cannot eat
-usually begins in the afternoon. If I notice the I need to stretch and take extra strength Advil it numbs it to an almost bearable state...
-except for one time, it is *always* gone the very next day. The worst of the pain lasts around 12hrs

The back pain is in the centre of my back. And the stomach pain is just below my ribs. It feels like a band of muscle connects the front of my body to muscles that run vertically on either side of my spine. I often will stand up and press very firmly along either muscle in my back
