I had sex my 6th day after hysterectomy. I'm worried what should I do. I'm embarrassed to tell my doctor and don't know what to do. Help?!
I had sex 3 weeks after. I did call my doctor at first I felt fine it didn't hurt, no blood. So they said just to monitor it and if I had any problems to call and they'd get me in . That was 3 days ago. I now have a slight fever and it burns down there. Don't be embarrassed to call your doctor they've already been inside of us and have heard this story more than once. They were very nice and professional about it. I was embarrassed too but my concern was more important. I'm calling again tomorrow for some antibiotics just to be safe. Please call your doctors ladies especially the ones bleeding!! It will be okay but please get the help you need.

I did it at 3 weeks as well. I was also worried about infection. I called my doctorate very next day. He said as long as I didn't bleed or have pain I was okay. I just left my doctor and he looked at my stitching I had my 6 week post op a little early and he said everything looked great. So keep an eye on your tempeture and if it hurts when you urinate. I am also in a support group and we had a long post going about this. It's a lot more common than I thought. So just keep an eye on it and don't be afraid to call your doctor if anything seems off.

Do not have sex early I leaned the hard way I’m 27 years old now I had my full hysterectomy when I was 23 I went home that night I’m one of them weird people I can’t be in hospitals I literally had to sign papers to be let out that early any ways long story shorter the man I was with was very controlling and would make me feel horrible by saying what you don’t care if I’m happy blah blah shiut so I had sex on day 3 I bleed like a mother f$$;er had to go back to have another set of stitches inside nothing like being put to sleep again for something avoidable not to mention I was stuck in hospital for 5 days on iv guess what I did again 1 week after the same thing we had sex I refused to go to hospital and now I suffer in pain daily I literally feel like my vag is going to fall out of me with god awful stabbing pains and now I’m a bitczdh I can’t stand men I know it was my fault to but you don’t understand have evil that as****e was
