A few months ago I started getting random sharp pains in my abdomen. They only last a few seconds but they happen every few minutes and are so painful that I can't move. And the majority of the time they come in the month that I have my period. I had went to the doctor before for really bad menstrual cramps. The doctor said it might be an ovarian cyst. She put me on birth control to help with the cramps. However, I've been on it for almost a year and I still have very bad cramps, nausea, heavy flow and light bleeding in-between periods. I've read that all of these can be symptoms of a cyst. I want to get someone else's thoughts/opinion. Do you think it could be a cyst? Or could it be something else? I tried to get an appointment with the doctor but she's very busy and doesn't have an open space anytime soon.

You might just have a ovarian cyst i have a cyst on my left ovary and every now and den i get sick from it i start to feel naucious my stomache hurts its a really sharp pain below my belly button and my back hurts but its because of the cyst. As soon as u could make a appointment go cuz cyst vary from size some can be as big as a pea and some are as big as a orange and those are the ones that need a surgery to remove dem
