I had surgery over five days ago to remove what was left of my teeth, and I was put under for it. I expected some post-op discomfort afterwards, but it's been several days and it's only gotten worse. I can barely swallow anything now without intense, sharp pain - not regular swallowing, mostly. Just when food or drink is involved.
I also had a sinus issue with a lot of leakage before the surgery that resolved itself prior to the operation. It's re-emerged.
I do intend to see a doctor, but is there anything I can do to ease the pain until then?
