Im 16 and I have been sick for about 3 days,Yesterday I had my mother come to pick me up from school because my stomach hurt so bad,it was the worst case of the cramps I have ever had. This morning I started my period and i want to hte bathroom (less than 2 hours ago) to change tampons, upon removeing the soild tampon I relixed a quarter inch long dark red and pink thing,it looked alot like flesh, should I be worried or tell my mom and go get checked out?Or just wait to see if it will solv itself?Whats wrong with me?
Honey, that's a clot. I panicked when I got one too. I stayed home all day from school, cramped and sore. The doctor will say it isn't serious, but they'll probably put you on birth control. I'm currently on both metformin and TriNessa, and it helps.
For the cramps, I've found, oddly, that pressing your right thumb in the spot between your left thumb and pointer finger helps, but you have to try and find the right spot. I've accidentally gotten a bruise from pressing, but it does help me, and I hope it helps you.
Good luck!

First off, in order for someone to actually understand you loved, spelling correctly is a HUGE help. And the advise given by the next loser, don't pay too much attention to it as it may be wrong. For one, there may be something seriously wrong. I let something go too long and now I have to have a hysterectomy at the age of 32 because of that stupid HPV that is causing some severe displasia. Are you having sex? I would hope not because if you're not old enough to spell than you're you're SO not ready for sex. Maybe it was a miscarriage.
The girl was feeling sick, cut her a break with the spelling!! Also don't totally dismiss the second poster's advice, she could be right you know!!
As for the tampon question: It probably was nothing more than a clot but talking to your mother would be a good choice, after all she's been having her period for quite awhile! Bad cramping and stomach aches can be a sign of endometriosis, a disorder where the linging of the uterus also grows on the outside of the uterus and can grow in other parts of the body including the bowel, stomach, and other organs. Other symptoms are heavy periods, nausea, CLOTTING, pelvic pain, lower back pain, and severe cramps. If you do have these symptoms it would be good to go ahead and see your physician as endometriosis can lead to complications and even infertility! Good luck loved_4_life!! Hope you feel better!

Some people do have problems spelling. It's not like you didn't have a run-on sentance. Since when are you an english teacher? You were completely off topic of her problem. Besides either give advice or don't say anything.

You seem to have a big mouth but at 32 years old you should know better than to talk to a 16 year old girl who is just asking for help like that. You really need to grow up. If you haden't wrote your age i would have thought you was a 16 year old just wanted to be heard or making jokes. If you can't give good advice you don't need to be on this website.
Why Do people have to be so rude. This lady must be Einstein. Let me guess she has done every thing perfect her whole life or maybe shes just a sad person. She does realize she put some errors in her message as well right.
Uhh.. first off lady, maybe before you dis someone else for there writting you should check yours first. Since your second last setence does not make too much sence hunny.. Also, the girl needed help not a lecture from some 32 year old, who thinks she's a hot shot... Not everything is about you lady, learn to help out the younger generations..
And as for some advice from me, whenever i have major cramps i find just laying down, curling into a ball always helps me... and if you can actually fall asleep, usually when i wake up i feel a whole lot better... also taking some Ibprophen or advil always helps the pain a little bit.. hope that helped :)

You're so hypocritical it's funny.
Now back to being helpful.
I have the same issue too. So far talking to your doc and getting birth control is a good choice. Both my cousin and I have the same issue and when she'd gotten the pills, she was much much better.
Also, those chunks are just clots, so don't worry ;) Perfectly normal.
For your cramping, drink plenty of water, use a heating pad, and although it sounds painful, try doing sit ups or something to exercise the muscles closest to that area. Even walking. It helps.
