I'm 16 years old, take ADD medication and recently have been taking ZyrtecD as prescribed by a doctor for some sort of upper respiratory problem. I've had it for nearly 3 months now, I had it last year too, I'm basically chronically ill. I used to be healthy(I still got sick very often, caught everything that came around, but I was healthy inbetween) but after moving 1 and a half years ago I've been going from sickness to sickness, I seriously can't remember a day where there wasn't something wrong.
Anyways, this morning I woke up and did the same as always, there was absolutely no change in anything and has been no change in anything over the past week and beyond; took my meds, ate breakfast, went to school. I got to school and felt fine, I talked with friends before the bell rang and then I went to history class. First 20 minutes of class was fine, I was sitting the entire time(as usual) and taking notes and listening to the teacher. Then, I started getting extreme sharp pains and cramp-like feelings in my abdomen. I figured that maybe my period was coming early, as I've gotten those symptoms before on my period and they last about a day. It wasn't going away at all, and it didn't really seem to be following the pattern that it does on my period, it was definitely different. About 5 minutes after they started my teacher put on a video(and turned the lights off) on the border between Mexico and the USA, so no it's not possible that any of this was the result of what I saw on the video, unless looking at border patrol search the desert for a 18 year old immigrant induces fainting... Well, when the video started my stomach was still doing its strange pains, they were severe enough for me to have to clutch my stomach and it was making me put my head on my desk, like everytime a pang of pain happened I folded into myself. Then I started to get really hot, it was definitely not warm in my class, I was exactly comfortable. The heat started getting worse, it was hot and cold sweats basically. I was sweating and my stomach hurt and now my head started to throb. It was that dull throb that affects your eyes and ears. This is when my vision started getting messed up; the spots were small at first, it was like I was seeing in film grain. Then the all the pain was getting worse and I was short of breath, my vision was really going and so I tapped the person next to me and barely managed to tell her, "Get teacher, don't feel good, think I might faint." All I remember is him helping me stand up and move towards the door, next I know I wake up on the floor in the hallway with my teacher next to me. Apparently I collapsed but he was holding me so I didn't hit my head or anything.
I tried to make it through the day but only lasted 2 more periods(one of which i was in the nurse's office). I'm having the most disgusting diarrhea, it's like green basically. My stomach has a bubbling feeling in it, I'm still very weak and my legs aren't too stable. I've had food to try and make me better but it just drove my stomach insane. Anyone have any idea what's wrong? We're just assuming that it's a virus, like one of the 24 hour flu ones. I've gotten them before but I've certainly never fainted with them.
Hi Life,
You need to see your doctor. ANY unexplained loss of consciousness, passing out, and you need to see your doctor. The nurse never should have allowed you to stay in class, period!
Green diarrhea can just mean that food is moving very quickly through your intestine, so bile, from your liver is not breaking down.
You may just have a virus. Your symptoms do fit. Regardless, you should see your doctor.
Hope it helps.

Why you aren't at a hospital and are on the computer is beyond me. It could be your appendix or gall bladder. You must get to a hospital emergency room and tell them you are having an appendix attack so they'll see you right away. I had to say I was having a heart attack when my gallbladder went bad. You are treating this way too lightly. I didn't pay attention to my symptoms and ended up having surgery tto remove my gallbladder. Everytime I ate fatty foods I get sick. My back muscles spasmed really bad. When you get a hot flash like that then faint that is a BIG sign. Please let me know if you live. Seriously! hjhmomatyahoodotcom
