I have been running off and on for years but have always had a rest day.......until recently I started running daily. I have weak legs really and feel I should have rest days. Will my legs strengthen if I continue or should I listen to my body?
Now you should take some rest after rest run again with new energy.
oHHH it is important that you listen to your body... you should take a rest and condition yourself again...
I am a restless workout fanatic but I always have time to relax...

Absolutely take a rest day (or two).
The real gains happen inbetween your running workouts as your body adapts and strengthens to handle the demands for the next running workout.
Best quote I've heard about taking a recovery day was from Chris Carmichael (Lance Armstrong's coach), basically explaining some of Lance's workouts said that athletes don't get injured from overtraining, they get injured from "under-recovering" from the hard workouts.
