Ok i was suppose to start my period 5 days ago. Me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for over a year so I was really excitted. So I took a home pregnany test and it was positive I was so excited I took him, and then went to took a blood test. When the doctor called later that day she said the results where negative. This morning I woke up and noticed i had started spotting. So wondering I took another home test. And again its positive. Should I wait a week and take another or should I wait a week see if my period really starts or should I go to the doctor. PLEASE help me. I want to be able to see that look on my husbands face again.
IMO- w/two home tests showing + i would be more inclined to thin the lab didnt look close enough or mixed up the tests somehow (it does happen)- but...until you get that confirmation don't get too excited. the first few weeks are touch and go in a pregnancy and a lot fail (at no fault to you) Spotting is normal in early pregnancy so thats a good thing. And believe it or not some hometests are more accurate than the doctors lab tests (mainly because lab techs are in hurry often and if its early and has a light + they will easily overlook it.) Only thing you can really do is have him test again...he might have you wait 5 more days because it will decrease the possibility that the techs will overlook that "light positive"...I think the odds are in your favor
