I had a kidney stone removed last Tuesday and went back to the hospital today to get the stent removed. I learned that I have 6 more kidney stones. Before I left the hospital I asked the nurse if there were any side effects from the stent removal that I needed to be aware of and was told no. I came home and when I went to pee, it hurt, but was normal in color. When I went to wipe, there was bright red blood on the tissue. I wiped 3 more times and there was blood every time. Does anyone know if this is normal? Any information you have will be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Jenny Pearl

Thank you for the advice. To answer your question, no I did not get a leaflet or any information. I was sore until the stent was removed.
