I have been to several doctors for my chronic pain and they all want to do the same, which is to prescribe narcotic analgesics. I don't really want to be dependant on these drugs, but I also want a life free from pain. I am desperate at this point. Do you have any advice? What are the side effects of narcotic analgesics as a rule?
