My baby has been colicky and the pediatrician recommended nutramigen to relieve the colick. I am willing to look into this but I haven't bought any nutramigen yet. I am currently breastfeeding and want to be convinced that nutramigen is really the best thing for my baby. What do you think the side effects of nutramigen are?
Is your baby a preemie? I ask this, because nutramigen is a formula that was specifically designed for preemies, and I don't know why any doctor would recommend it unless your baby was born prematurely. I would never quit nursing in favor of a formula, unless I had convincing evidence that this was medically needed.
