Anyways, no. Having her period is not a sign of pregnancy. If she was pregnant, she wouldn't have her period. She might have some light spotting, but no period.

i have two kids, a 2 year old boy and 3 month old girl. with both my pregnancies at the begining i had very heavy bleeding Not a period and not spotting just Heavy bleeding that was caused from having to much stress in my life, and being very emotional. so having said that not all pregnancies are the same its different for every body, so it would just be safe to have her get checked . i wish you all the best.

The good news is that if she was that close to her period then she is not likely to be pregnant.
She'd normally ovulate between days 11-16 of her cycle. The egg is only viable for about 48 hours, so that would be day 18 or so. She likely had sex on or about day 21 so the egg wasn't viable at the time and not able to be fertilized (I'm using the 30th for the calculations, the odds are even better she's not pregnant if you use the 23rd or 25th).
She can always take a home test, I'd suggest she wait a week or two though. Again, I think it unlikely that she is pregnant.
