Have you ever checked the symptoms relating to Cushing's Syndrome???
I have had the same. The discharge is clear with organized clear cells and clear orbs with colored blue red black fibers with black specs. I have had numbness in my salivatory glands, confusion (MRI shows evidence of punctures and an old bleed, I have had nausea, dizziness, vision problems and weepy eyes, ears plugged, fatigue, depression, the works. The cyst finally gave way after two years. ENT said your fine the dentist referred me to oral surgeon. Instead I did ionized (kosher salt) rinses, baths with half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, chitin inhibitor MSM with glucosamine, FISH OIL, vitamin C all of these things seemed to get it "active" and break up. I also have which are finally going away modeling of the lymph nodes in my neck. I have had fever and rash intermittently and high blood pressure where had no problem before. I felt like I was deficient in vitamins this entire time. Also, no tan......hormone problems as the cyst was right on top of my pineal gland and possibly effected the production of hormones? ? I don't know but it's finally going away! Yey!
I'm going through the same as you did. Please let me know if it's from the sinus cyst cause I just did an mri which shows the same with the same symptoms as yours.
You may have meniers disease.
Same here, cyst in left sinus. Severe, almost unbearable pain in right eye, numb right temple and tightness in right side base of neck. (at shoulder level) Right sinus seems swollen, nothing when I blow my nose. Occasional drainage in the back of the throat. If I push hard at the base of the skull about a inch behind my ear it sometimes helps. No idea why.
Risks with surgery are bleeding and recurrence.
I have had ongoing issues with sinus infections for the past 5 years. (I even had allergy testing and I'm not allergic to anything). Each time I came down with an infection, I went to urgent care and my primary doctor where I was given antibiotics and decongestions.
This past year, I had more sinus infections and the last one would not heal with my prescribed antibiotics. This past year, my symptoms were much worse which included: extreme fatigue, irritability, shortness of breath, congestion, muffled hearing, painful sinus pressure and swelling of sinuses, weight gain, dizziness, and watery eyes.
This issue really affected my quality of life making it hard to function at work. Also, I was extremely fatigued and had to self medicate with excessive amounts of caffeine just to get function. Looking back, I'm a disappointed with my general doctor who at no time advised me to see a Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor. I had to figure it out on my own.
Today I had endoscopic sinus surgery. They found a cyst in my left maxillary sinus and removed it. I took a few pain pills today. Needless to say, I'm feeling much better. Prior to taking the medicine I noticed the pressure under my left eye and left temple was gone.
General(asleep) surgery. Removed quarter sized cyst from right max sinus. Both sides also balooned. 2 pain pills so far today. Steady slow bleeding only relieved by elevating head on pillow and using ice pack. Ice pack works MUCH better than pain pills. After several hours with ice pack bleeding has stopped. Now clear mucus only. I am not taking antibiotics or steroids or nasal sprays. Only hydrocodone as needed. Day 1 has been miserable. Pain was 7. Bleeding pressure and general discomfort has been 9. Nasal packing was removed in recovery when I was very drugged. The doctor used incredible amounts of numbing meds and meds to reduce/minimize bleeding which is why I am so congested. Right side is blocked 100% at moment left side maybe 50%. I will keep this updated.
Cyst was most likely from sinus lift performed last year to place dental implant in tooth #3. I began developing chronic sinus infections every 3 months along with resistance to antibiotic treatment. Before the sinus lift I had zero sinus problems. I never had a sinus infection in my life. I still want the implant placed in tooth #3. It kept getting delayed due to sinus infections. I currently have 6 implants total with working on tooth #13 and hopefully tooth #3 can be placed later this year. Also I have 23 crowns with 5 veneers.
I had sinus surgery when I was in the 8th grade. They had to go in and remove a cyst from my left sinus cavity and check it for cancer. When they did the surgery they went in through the inside of my nose. Can't tell where though. And now im going to have to find a dr that will scan my sinuses to see if I have had some come back but every dr I go to anymore doesn't want to do anything. They keep treating me as if I just have a sinus infection when I know that's not the case. (i'm now 23 and married and my sinuses have gotten a LOT worse). I don't even remember the last time I didn't have any problems with my sinuses. :(
Same symptoms, blamed on left side sinus cyst. Radiologist took a closer look. Cyst extended into frontal lobe. Birth defect. I'm 57, diagnosed w epilepsy at age 9. I'm just now finding out I had a fixable birth defect and no more seizures! Life is good.
I have the same symptoms and a cyst in nasal passage. I'm going to check into this further.
My mom is having the same symptoms and just recently was told she has a cyst in her maxillary sinus. Antihero is the working either.
Did you ever find out what's going on with you?
I just found out that I have had a cyst in my sinus cavity since 2007. I was diagnosed with severe depression, and anxiety in 2006 so I am now on disability. I have had swelling in my legs for over three years now and take water pills on a regular basis and they don't seem to work. Two months ago I got so dizzy and nauseous that I couldn't stand or lay down without my head spinning and getting sick. The doctor put me on steroids to help the diagnosis of Vertigo, they did not work. She then sent me in for a emergency CT scan because she thought it might be brain issues, the test all came back normal. Right after the CT scan my left ear kept getting plugged so they sent me to an ENT. The ENT told me this cyst has been in me since 2007 and every doctor I have seen never said anything to me until 3 weeks ago. I have gained over 100 lbs in 3 years, legs swelling horribly, became more depressed, anxiety through the roof, and he sent me in for a hearing test. So the outcome from the ENT is surgery to remove the cyst because it's blocking my sinuses so badly I don't breathe right, yes I have had a sleep test also and it came back normal, thyroid tests have came back normal as well. The hearing test showed that I have a hereditary hearing loss and at 37 years old I have the hearing of a 70 year old. I'm due for surgery the 24th of this month and I'm hoping and praying that the removal of the cyst will maybe help with a lot of things going on with my body.
Please update us about your results. I am experiencing headache, back of my neck pains, back of the head pains, eye pains, eye distortions (flickering), nose pain, lymph node swelling near larynx, BAD MEMORY FOG. I have a cyst in my maxillary sinus that I diagnosed with MRI and I'm having a Ct scan done too. The MRI is not conclusive for things like cysts I was told by an Ent.
