UPDATE!!!

I'm finding this hard to believe...but I went to my dentist and after a few questions she asked if I had noticed tension in my jaw! Of, COURSE! I clench my teeth (Bruxism) she fitted me with a tooth splint over the front two teeth that stops clenching and grinding, the first night I got a few hours sleep (as it felt odd...but an improvement on 2!) The next night I got 8 hours! Since then I have slept well don't wake with headaches, eyeball doesn't feel like someone punched it, sinuses calmed down, nose running MUCH less, less sneezing, no longer snore at night, don't have to sleep propped up, neck problems gone, pain behind collar bone gone!!!!! WOW!

Would never have believed it but if you think you might be clenching your teeth PLEASE visit your dentist and ask for a tooth splint!

Hello. I've been doing a lot of research regarding the sinuses. For a long time I have been dealing with what I and my dr's thought was a sinus infection. I was put on 4 different antibiotics, steroids, tried the nedi-pot which does offer some relief, hot showers and nasal sprays. After a CT it was discover NO infection. My original complaints: tooth pain, from an already root candled tooth. She did take an x-ray and saw no problems with the tooth. She did prescribe an antibiotic and at first I thought, wow, this has been my problem all along, and it's was a relief. The second day it felt like I had a really good cold, coughing and I actually sneezed. Which was non-existent! I hadn't sneezed in over 3 years. This may sound strange to some, but it's no joke. No sneeze for over 3 years, I thought it must be some kind of record. I also had and still have popping/cracking sounds in the right side and very stuffy on the right side of my nose. Im tired ALL the time and rest is non-existent. I'd get headaches nearly every day and still get them. After all the above was tried dr's now think I have allergies. Never in my life have I suffered from allergies, I told the dr. I'd really like to hear what has worked best for ppl in my situation. And also, if anyone has gone without sneezing for as long as I have. Again, I did sneeze once after I started my first round of antibiotics. It was the best feeling although, i don't consider it much of a sneeze because it happened when I was coughing. It wasn't a complete sneeze. lol Thanks for any input. I still use the neti-pot and it does help, temporarily. Sincerely, Kristi

Everything you mention sounds like me.. i suffered with that for years for I could not get doctors to take it seriously until I had a CT of the sinus done and found that when I was born my nasal/sinus had not develope properly and over the years now I am 37 got worse to the point of causing major problems. Deviated septum and enlarged tissue growth that has been there since teenage years. The puffy eyes, sore teeth, pressure in face, morning headaches etc... all went away with the surgery. See an ENT

insist on seeing an ear, nose and throat specialist, explain its related to sinusitus, it should get cleared up, chronic sinusitus can last for 3 months and needing repeated doses of antibiotics, try steam inhalation, antihistamines may help!!

This may fundamentally be due to an overgrowth of yeast/fungus in your body. Read chapter 5 of the book "From fatigued to fantastic" by Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D.

I was experiencing fatigue and pressure around the eye sockets for almost a year, and the condition worsened significantly when I tried the Atkins diet.At that time I ate copious amounts of meat and dairy products, and almost NO carbs (stayed in the Ongoing Weight Loss phase) and not only did I constantly feel tired and heavy around eyes, I looked like I'd basically hadn't slept for days.

Worst of all, people around me kept pointing out how tired I looked, which quickly went from being somewhat annoying to extremely irritating. Here I was trying to lead a healthier life but it seemed to me, and everyone else, that I was doing the exact opposite...

I then came across the book Eat for Health by Dr. Joel Fuhrman and site

by Dr Michael Greger and quickly realized what I was doing wrong. Eating meat, even in moderate amounts, comes with consequences. Most of us simply cannot handle eating meat and dairy more than a few servings per week...I was eating meat with almost every meal.

So, long story short; I turned vegan and immediately lost around 20 pounds, which is significant since I was only 165 pounds to begin with. My body needed all that extra fat to protect my vital organs, due to my meat rich diet. On Atkins I lost only 2-3 pounds, but turning vegan and focusing on nutrient dense foods, I dropped the 20 pounds in 3-4 weeks.

I feel so much better now. And I just must share this with the people on this thread... I too was here looking for answers!

The fatigue I was feeling every day is gone, and now I actually look healthy like I did in my early 20-ties (I'm 35 years old).At 145 pounds I'm now borderline skinny, even for a 5'9" guy of Asian decent - but who cares, I have my energy back!

I urge you guys to have a look at Dr Fuhrman's and Dr Greger's work.. Good luck everyone.

i go an xray and was told both sides of my sinuses are infected, was prescribed amoxycilin-clavilin (no clue the correct spelling atm). 7 day treatent was ineffective. i went in for a follow up appt and my doctor said he was going to make an appt with the ear-nose-throat specialist. this was early feb or late jan 2013, i finally asked him a week ago what was happening and i was told the appt is march 19th... does this seem normal? my left eye is swollen and off center from my right, things are weird and i have to wait a month and a half just to see what has to be done about it?? i FEEL fine no problems there, but my eye waters lots and is swollen, plus theres a dark blur in the bottom of my vision in the affected eye. other than that my nose is a little stuffed and i cant smell anything lol! does this seem like unprofessional conduct on my doctor's behalf?

I had symtoms of being tired, my whole mouth was hurting, I felt terrible it did subside so I thought it was from my sinuses. Then one evening I had a heavy feeling on my chest I talked with my siter that told me I should go tot he hospital. I went to sleep and in morning the heaviness was still there so I made a doctor's appointment. Doc hooked me up to EKG says everything sounds good. Then he asked me if I had any problem when I exerted myself and I said I get this squeeszing feeling in both of my upper arms. He said he was going tosend me to a cardiologist for a stress test. I was able to see the cardiologist later that day. I was again hooked up to the EKG machine and asked to walk on the treadmill. The cardiologist stopped the treadmill and gave me a nitogycerin and said she would be back in a few minutes. When she came back she asked me if the Nitrogycerin worked and I said yes the heaviness was gone. Next thing she is telling me that she is sending me to the hospital via an abulance. I thought I was having a heart attack.I made it to the hospital and they did blood tests and took and x-ray. The doctors said everything is looking good that you did not have a heart attack, but your cardiologist want you to stay the night and in the morning she wants to do an angiogram. My angiogram was done and while still groggy they told me that I had four major arteries blocked. The one that most men die from the widow maker was 95% blocked. So what was next, I had open heart surgery with four bypasses. So just to be on the safe side I would get checked out by a cardiologist.Women do not have the same signs as men. Oh, what I had was Angina which is caused by blocked arteries. I was kept in the hospital 3 days before surgery to keep me from having a heart attack.

I have all the same symptons, had a MRI and they found nothing at all.. What else can it be, its been 2 months and I am miserable.  I have been researching TMJ and it sounds like thats what I may have, but does that really cause puffy watery eyes, sore throat and swollen glands?
