Has anyone tired Michael Thurman's - Six Week body Makeover...I saw his commerical on TV and thought I might try it, but not sure about it so I wanted to ask if anyone here has tried it
I actually bought it and been doing it for about 3 weeks now and i have lost 17lbs so far they do require you to walk for about 30 mins but i like to extend it a little longer the work outs are beyond easy so i like to throw in a little extra i mean it is the least you can do and sticking with the food and all that is extremely difficult at first because your trying to change your eating habits in a day and it takes a lot to get used to it but if you are serious about it then you will stick to you but it does work a bit over priced i believe but its worth it. But if you have any other concerns feel free to ask :-)
Yes, I mean, if you starve yourself and eat c**p you'll lose weight, it doesn't matter under what banner that comes. The question is, is it easier to lose weight on your own, by doing some personal research, or following a plan like this? I did realize it was a scam, and that I could lose weight (sustainably) on my own, so......
Why it was a scam.
For starters I had to constantly cook, and fight the extra charges on my bill...that was work! Second, the people were rude, high pressure, and I had to fight, fight, fight! That is the very hallmark of a scam, is it not? So yes, it is a scam. Again, what made it so was the charges... and then the difficulty in getting a refund...let me tell you, not worth it! Can you lose weight on nearly any diet if your tenacious enough? Yes. So why not do your own research (since diets are pretty individualistic anyway) , and enjoy the ride, rather than going through this hell and not being able to decide things for yourself, stuck on some plan, with who knows what kind of obligations.
Just an informed thought and warning.

I am on it now. I started 6/27. I have lost 15 lbs. so far. I haven't done the exercise part yet and I may have walked 2 times since I started. I am lazy.. I can admit that. LOL!! I am a body type C and I was already eating the food that I am allowed on this plan. The problem was how I prepared what I ate and the portions I ate. I don't think it's a scam and really just the knowledge I've gained from this was worth the cost for me. I am free of salt and sugar and have found creative ways to substitue for flavor. I am never hungry because it feels like I am eating constantly everyday. That was a big change at first because my stomach felt too full by the end of day and it was uncomfortable. I highly recommend it to my friends and family. Hope that helps. Ps don't ever boil chicken.. Yuck!! Try grilling or baking or stir fry with veggies and mrs dash salt free seasoning is a life savor. The chippotle is my favorite in ground turkey for lettuce wrapped tacos without the sodium.
