Hi Linni,
I just had my gallbladder removed a couple months ago and for the first time my face is breaking out and also oily. It's so odd and I'm wondering too if it has something to do with the removal of my gallbladder. This was a year ago, have you resolved it?

I had my Gall Bladder removed in January due to pain that didn't stop. It was removed and the pain went away, but i have noticed that my skin is getting oily and I am now breaking out.
So does anyone know what I can do to clear this up.? i am a Latin Male and had Acne as a Teen but it finally quit in my 20's.

I had my gall bladder out a while ago and then also started getting breakouts although I've always had oily skin. I went to a doctor and was diagnosed with Rocesea. The interesting thing though is that just yesterday a workmate was also diagnosed with Rocesea after having her Gall bladder out. I think that everyone who has had their gall bladder out should look out for this.

Had my cholecystectomy about 20 years ago and still have ugly new pimples every day. All the fat that is eaten goes thru the GB so it makes sense that the removal would cause pimples. No, no topical helps. I take minocycline and it doesn't help. I do find that enzymes taken before every meal makes a little difference but not much.

I had my GB removed in June. I didn't have teenage acne issues, and my skin was always excellent...my face has broken out, and I now have "whiteheads". I'm so disappointed:(. Had I to do it over, I would have tried to do something else, although one needs to be careful of not becoming septic.

I had my gallbladder removed on 9/1/17. i too am experiencing what you are. i have purchased oil control face washes, toners, and masks. nothing has helped. so i am going to try experiementing with just a vegan diet this week to see if it is due to eatting meats. i already do not consume dairy due to being lactose intollerate. i will try to leave an update on if it helps.

I had my gallbladder removed 7/2017 and it has changed my life. I don't get oily skin but prunes fingers, beau lines on my fingernails, itchy skin, and I've lost so much weight. I don't feel like myself and I started a Digestive enzyme from Vitamin Shoppe that's tolerable. I was worrying myself silly that something else was going on but I never had any of these issues until after the surgery. I started drinking apple cider vinegar and water to help with the acid reflux feeling becuase I don't want that to start. Gonna do more research for the bile issues, God bless everyone on their journey.

It is obvious that there is a connection. My gallbladder hurts every time it has bad shape, and I also have huge skin, hair problems. especially after eating my skin becomes so oily. So, as i see it, it happens due to problems with bile system. Actually I am thinking of a surgery, because it could not become worse.

I am one that posted about gallbladder issues previously maybe a year ago and listed everything I had tried yet nothing helped. The past couple months I have been drinking half glass warm water + Braggs apple cider vineager + very tiny dab of baking soda. I drink this first thing in morning and in evening or try to before meal. It has helped my face feel better and not be near as oily. I still have some breakout but not near like they were seems like only when or if I eat something greasy which is not very often. I believe the apple cider vineager balanced out the ph in the body that is lacking from no gallbladder. Also (I'm a hairdresser so I've tried many skin care products) and best thing I have found is a few drops of tea tree oil on a cotton ball and rub over face before bed (sometimes I very light rinse but most of time I leave on because it is astringent, anti fungal and antibacterial) also apple cider vineager blotted on face equalized ph and helps clear it up and dry up oil. After 6 years this is best thing I have found.
