I noticed mine peeling if I use any harsh mouth wash or intense toothpaste. I think you are on to something. If I use things for sensitive mouths, I don't get it as much

This happens to me every time I vape with a juice containing PG (Propelyne Glycol). I switched to an organic brand that uses 100% VG (Vegetable Glycerine) instead, and my mouth hasn't shed at all since. I just tried my buddy's vape again tonight who assured me that PG wasn't causing it and it must have been somethig else but when I got home my mouth started peeling again. So, I'm positive it's the PG for me.

I have the same thing as many here do but you say you have metal in your lip, i have two front eye teeth with metal and wonder if it is a reaction to the metal? I also had a rod in my leg and after a while it had to come out due to sever pain from my leg rejecting the metal.

I looked it up and it might be some sort of allergy to your toothpaste.

I started using coconut oil & baking soda, and I still have it. I even tried sipping/swishing with apple cider vinegar because I thought it was candida. So for me, it's not the toothpaste, although toothpaste can def cause this. I think I may have a definciency because my lip skin peels a lot too.

It is caused by both dryness in your mouth from sleeping with your mouth open or irritation/allergy to toothpaste and or whitening products. I had it as well!
