What do you think I should use for dry skin
Well, there are a lot of things you could use. I really like using honey, so you could use that. Coconut oil is great as well. I sometimes use almond oil and vaseline too. I've heard oatmeal reduces dry skin. I also read if you blend some avocado and apply it to the dry areas it helps. Shea butter is good too. Weirdly using cold milk works. Also heard that yoghurt and olive oil moisturizes your skin. Oh and using moisturizer helps a lot.
Hope this helps you! :)

I AM AGUY SO I AM NOT GOING THROUH ALL THAT TROUBLE CAN YOU SUGGEST SOMTHING MORE SIMPLE?
i dont want to smell like a dessert
All that seemed pretty simple to me.
You don't smell like dessert.
Hi well at least it would seem to me all the ingredients for a dessert are there. To a guy I think it's not simple.what kind of lotion do yo recommend?
For a guy? A teen guy?
*Keep your face clean! Wash 2 x a day with an anti-acne cleanser if you got breakouts, like clean & clear something like that. This is very important don't use normal soap that is too harsh and makes your skin worse in the long run.
* Avoid messing with your face, like touching it, which makes it all more germy, during the day I mean not when washing it of course.
* Test different razors. Use an after shave balm.
* Just get a normal oil free moisturizer from the store, ask the store employees for help if you don't know what to get.

Hello!
I am 16 and my skin is looking pretty beat up at the moment. I notice it most around my cycle. Anyone got good tips on how to conceal acne without making it look worse? I do my skincare routine and stuff, I'm set with that, I hope this acne will be gone soon, but for now I just need to get better with makeup. Often it just looks like acne with concealer on top and that is not a good look, but I know there are people with serious acne who manage to at least look like their skin is good.

im the teen up above your post what do you recomend for dry skin
- Clean your skin with a gentle cleanser every night before you go to bed
- Use sunscreen as directed
- Use moisturizing cream on a daily basis, not too oily though and not anti-age
- Salicylic acid helps unclog your pores
- Vitamin A and zinc supplements can help make your skin less oily but you should only take them after talking to your doctor
- Do not squeeze acne as it can cause infection and lead to scars

Confusing thread, LOL. Skincare tips for guys vs girls are definitely different in my mind. Guys can get away with more but also have less options for hiding their imperfections and definitely get teased for acne. The one thing I would say is that if acne doesn't reduce with regular skincare and gets out of control is to see your doctor because there are medical treatments for acne that could help you. Topical retinoids are a good weapon to deploy. Antibiotics are also another good thing for some people, and then there is benzoyl peroxide also. Sulfur can also help with acne.
hi kitty master you didnt answer .ill ask you again im a teen guy i need some kind of lotion for dry skin my face is real dry and dont tell me to go out and buy some expensive stuff im in college and on a budget oh and also something to fresh up my face???
Hey Kitty Master!
I'm a teen girl too, and I can also recommend the cetaphil for teens because it does a really good job at cleansing the skin. I would also recommend moisturising after you use it, because it can be a little bit drying. If you want to try a really good mask, I would recommend the 'Pores be Pure' strawberry clay mask. I'm not sure where to get it if you don't live in Australia (you'll probably get it in target or walmart of whatever you have available) but if you do live in Australia you can get it for $10 at priceline. It's really good and leaves skin feeling fresh!
I'm 15, and I don't wear tons of makeup because we're not allowed to at school (we have a uniform). Usually I just use an eyebrow pencil (only $3 from priceline!) and run the spoolie/brush through my eyebrows, then pencil in a little bit of colour and brush it through again. I don't really have huge red spots, mostly just small ones on my nose so I don't use any concealer or foundation, but since I have large pores I like to pop on some of benefit's 'Porefessional' primer; it makes your pores practically invisible. If I feel like it, I'll curl my lashes lightly. On weekends, if i'm going out, I'll put a bit of highlighter and sometimes a lip tint.
