I had unprotected sex 7 days ago. The only symptoms I have is the slight burning sensation during and after urination. I also urinate frequently which I never experience before. I fear I had been contacted with STD so I decided yesterday to see the doctor. Had my check up and he took blood and Urine test which all came negative. However, I'm a bit worried since the doctor told me that I'm not 100% STD free and adding " if you see some penis discharge in the following days or weeks, come back immediately for your antibiotics". Would that mean that the urine and blood tests results were not 100% sure if you have STD or not?. What will I do? Please give me some advices that can help me understand my situation. I'm really afraid.
maybe it is a bladder infection. try having your doctor test for that. cranberry juice helps too as long as you dont let it get too bad. if you are really worried about an std, go back and get tested again in a month or so. in the mean time i would seriously go see if you have a bladder infection. it causes burning sensations and feeling like you have to pee alot.

Thank you. That really helps. went to the doctor and he said that i just need to drink plenty of water. But not really convince though.... Got another question, how does the syphilitic chanker looks like? It's about 11days after I had unprotected sex already and I got no penile discharges and any other symptoms. If the girl have an HIV and had sex unprotected once, are you gonna be positive too on HIV?.

I have no idea what a syphilitic chanker looks like. If you do a search on it im sure a picture would show up somewhere. As for your question about HIV, if you have sex with someone who has the HIV virus there is a high chance that you will contract it since it is passed through body fluids when having intercourse. You said your blood tests were negative so thats good, but there is a chance that it wont show up right away. did this girl tell you that she is hiv positive? If she did i would wait about a month and get tested again, if not than try not to worry. maybe you should talk to the person you had sex with and ask if she is aware of any type of std that she may or may not have. it might be awkward to bring up but it will be worth it to ease your mind. make sure you get tested regularly even if you are using a condom.

thank you very much. Must tell you honestly that I have met that girl just on that night. I was drunk and things happened. Which I truly regretted. On that night she told me she was safe but I don't believe her. I tried to find her again to ask her seriously but she's nowhere to be found. It's already 2 weeks after that incident and I have no symptoms. Do you know how much percentage of me getting the HIV if she do really has? Please help me, I'm not sleeping well for the past weeks and very worried.
