I have recently noticed that my stool is slimy, with what looks like orangish mucus. I have also noticed what looks like white strips in my stool. I have eaten noodles though, so that may be what that is. I have been extremely tired, extremely bloated, and very irregular bowel movements. I do take a probiotic everynight. I also have had a lot of sinus problems lately and dont know if maybe that may be why I have mucus in my stool. I have recently treated my cats for tapeworms and am worried that somehow I may have caught them. How likely is this?
You cannot catch worms for the cat unless you eat it c**p!!
Hi,
All the things that you have listed here sound to me like you are about to catch a flu. How long have you been experiencing these problems? The sinus infection indicates that your immune system is not functioning normally and that your body is prone to viral or bacterial infections. Have you taken any medication for sinus infection? Maybe the changes in the stool are from these medications. I don’t think that you can get the worms from your cat. However if you can’t find a solution at home you should run some blood or stool test just to be certain what is causing this problem. Try not to eat spicy foods in next several days at least.
