I'm 20 years old, slightly overweight, but healthy.

I found this two days ago on my left testicle.
It is hard, somewhat irregularly shaped, maybe the size of a BB or smaller. It doesn't hurt, the only pain comes from when I push on it, but that's because I'm also pushing on my testicle.

It does feel like it is attached to the testicle and it doesn't move at all.

I'm so scared, I don't have insurance, I'm very poor, and the only people who could possibly help me are my parents and they are very poor too.

I'm so scared, I want to go into the Navy and do something with my life. I am so scared that this will be cancerous!! :-(
Relax.

Many males find a small lump, non-painful, on their testicle and panic.

What you describe is not rare but not cancer.

If you are concerned, mention it during your Navy physical... or the next time you're seen by a doctor.

It's GOOD that you're doing self-examinations of your testicles, and if you should detect any changes, you'll be in a better position to explain them to a medical person IF they happen.

In the meantime, note when and where you found this small, bb-sized lump, and report it next time you have a physical.

Good luck.

Kevin's advice was not very wise. There is no way he can say whether this is benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Only a doctor can advise as to what the problem may be, by doing a physical examination and quite possibly running some tests, such as bloodwork, an ultrasound, and possibly others. It's better to be safe than sorry. Men who find a lump in their testicle (or anywhere in their body, for that matter) should see a doctor immediately and not rely on Kevin's advice, however well-meaning it may be.
