Hi, I am 18 years old and have had mild asthma ever since i can remember. I have never suffered an attack and it dusnt bother me much, apart from getting a little worse in the winter or when i have a cold or flu. I have smoked now for four years not too heavily, and I really cannot imagine stopping, do you think I am putting myself in danger of an attack? Please sum1 reply to this, please.
Stop as soon as possible!

yea im a 13 year old girl an ive smoked about a year with mild asthma an rite in frontof mi friends i had a attack wen i came to the doctor said i was lucky to be alive so i suggest u stop asap !

If you are 13, your lungs aren't fully developed..so to be honest, of course you at a much higher risk. But of course, if you smoke low tar, and not too many of them, you needn't worry, although you are doing a lot of damage in the long run. You have increased your chances of lung cancer a lot..but it is your choice ;-)
