i recently had a tonsillectomy surgery about 6 days ago and just 2 days ago I accidentally drank an Icee that was kinda sour which began to irritate my throat extremely bad. I've been icing my throat and eating ice cream and all the foods that were advised to me. But my soft palate on my right side seems to be very red and a bit swollen, making it hard to swallow, and it's got a thin line of white running along it. I've been taking my medicine and everything on time and it seems the pain is getting much worse and nothing is getting better. Is there something I should be doing to help with the swelling and redness?
