I can not remember for the life of me where i found this information. But the soreness people are experiencing is normal. Not normal in the sense that every male will have this issue. But I have had this pain since my first ejaculation almost 20 years ago. It has never gotten worst. always the same level.

I would like everyone to take a step back(metaphorically) And socratically think about the anatomy of your shaft. its a a sponge that fills up with blood at a high pressure and gets beat to sh*t (lol) until you cum. The information i found was that every time you ejaculate it's like the sponge shaft and muscles kind of get a work out. So think about a workout, when you work out other muscles and feel sore the next day it is because to tore the muscle in order to grow new muscle. so it has to heal itself. So for the most part this is why the first erection AFTER the ejaculation is sore but then its usually not sore after the second erection (unless you ejaculate again during that second erection). For me i hold my penis around the center, not on the tip or the base. and in my experience the soreness over the years contributed to the girth of my penis being at its fattest right around the middle of the shaft where i grab on to. Because i tore the sponge shaft there more than the other spots along the shaft. and the base of the penis due to flexing the muscle when i ejaculate.

This is normal. the best thing to do to avoid serious soreness, is to not ejaculate again with the nest erections. as much as possible. let the second erections after you already came, let that pass and then you can get erect again. also if you can get erect again immediately after an ejaculation, you can give your girl or wife a second round with no pain. But if you ejaculate and then let your penis sit and relax then get erect again that second erection will be sore.

For me its always been just the second erection after an ejaculation to get sore, if i let it go down on its own, all following erections wont hurt.

Hey guys. I found this thread because I have the same problem. Sometimes I am OK with daily masturbation for long periods of time. Other times, like now, all it takes is one session, and my penis can be sore all day or for several days. As others here have said, it's an internal pain, so any squeezing or erections causes a deep soreness, from base to tip. Sometimes I'll also have a stinging in the tip of my penis. This only ever happens after masturbation or sex. It definitely hurts my libido, for fear of resulting penile pain.

I am 30 and have the exact same problem for about 8 years now. I have muscle soreness on the cap of my penis after ejaculation and feel uncomfortable pain having sex again until after 2-4 hours.

The pain is just your tissues recovering from the pressure they endured during an erection and this on its own isn't caused by any muscle.
In regular cases during a full erection the penis is fully engorged with blood, compare the penis to a stretchy container fully filled. When you ejaculate that muscle, the pc muscle, down the testes forces semen but also more blood into the shaft.
So filling it even more, but because it was already filled to the maximum your tissues might get damaged on a microscopic level, this isn't harmful but yes very annoying if you want to have another go at it.

FIX:
So given the main is just damaged tissue healing, what you want to do is have it heal faster, or not get damaged as fast
Option one: increase zink in take, this boosts cell regeneration ( and sperm production! Yay!) - WORKS WITHIN 2 DAYS (using zink supplements)
Option two: jelqing exercises, not to increase penis size like they say it does, but to condition your penis to higher pressures thus resulting into less chance of damage and thus no pain - WORKS WITHIN WEEKS (if done right, daily for like 30 minutes total, i myself do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 before sleeping)

Side note, everybody is different, this above just happened to work for me

I have the same problem. Trying to get hard after cumming causes a sore problem like a it is being bent, and cumming again worsens the ache and causes it to appear even when not having an erection. I do have a curved up penis(not really extreme, maybe 25 degrees), not sure if it is Peyronie's Disease but I consider it now... Anyone else has a curved penis and experience this problem? By the way I'm 18.

I am 19 too and I have had a similar issue since I was 16. I had Pre-ejaculation earlier this year but after one straight semester of no masturbation (but 2 wet dreams) that stopped. It did not hurt those two times. Now I just try to not do it and find something else to do; but that does not stop it from hurting if I cum.

Its like a 50/50 chance it will hurt if I cum for the first time in a week or longer depending on how thick the girl is I dream or think about. No joke, but since I am mainly into skinny girls that helps. At nights I think about girls before going to bed and that is when I might get caught up. I would like to fix this issue, for when I find that special woman.

That doesn't work for me, I've had this problem for as long as I can remember and for the same time period I have always taken a piss after ejaculating, I feel the pain for a while but is normally gone within 24 hours (normally jerk off at night before bed, research says its a good way to relax). I know I don't have any STDs as I am (regrettably) a virgin, it only happens after I have a satisfactory ejaculation, if I cum but don't get that good feeling I'm good for round 2, if it feels good the first time then its pain station. I have gone to a doctor or anything cause its embarrassing, it seems intriguing and possibly plausible to be some unknown disease or something like that causing this issue for so many men of varying ages.

I too have this problem. Here is what I think the answer to it is... please correct me with your experiences.

My circumcission was botched a little, and I have a lot of stretch marks on my penis. I think maybe the problem is that maybe the penis needs a lot of room to grow, as you age. If you were circumcised too much, as you age, you further constrict the penile growth, especially during masturbation because it's extreme. The pressure is then sent back to the shaft, just like the bottom of a building. this could also explain the variance in age, because obviously no circumsission is the same. Just grasping out at straws here

I wonder if anyone else in here had a circumcision. I personally had, and I suffer from this problem as well.

I am 51. Developed this problem late in age and only after having a vasectomy. I originally thought it was related to that operation. It waseems mild and didn't bother me much. About 8 years ago I developed a sports related injury in my testicle and developed a staph infection. After that, I developed the symptoms many of you described and was very uncomfortable after sex. I have experimented with many things and have had some success. I do feel discomfort still from frequent and long sex (more than 2 ejaculations in 24 hours or full erect sex for over an hour), but mostly the symptoms are mild and go away after 24 or 48 hours. The general soreness is more frequent after long sex, while the burning at the tip of penis is more associated with rough sex. So, long rough sex produces the most discomfort (for me). And yet, I still keep doing it. I do not masterbate much, but I do get some, milder, symptoms from that too. What I did to reduce the symptoms was to exercise more, focusing on exercises that increase testosterone (weight lifting), I cut soda and sugar from my diet (these are inflammatory and aggregate my prostate and testicles), I drink a lot of water and try to pee as soon as I feel a need to pee (no holding it in), and finally, I stopped worrying about it. Amazing how much worrying made it worse. And yes, if you think STD is possible, get tested. I have gotten tested quite a few times. I have always been negative, but if you are sexually active, that is something you should take responsibility for. Hope this helps, I know how much discomfort in the penis or testicles can make you worry, and having doctors just shrug and say "I don't know!" only makes it more frustrating.

I have had this proble before and I'm here to tell you all that you need to STOP MASTURBATING. Pleasuring yourself is not good for you and the pain, in fact, comes from a curse by the demon known as Sharglack.

I started having the same thing in my mid 30's. I'm now in my early 50's it eventually manifested as peyronies.

After my wife turned me off, even though she is 17 years younger, and filed for divorce, I haven't had intercourse or masturbated for the last 11 months. I just met a spectacular woman and had the most amazing sex in the tightest vagina I have ever felt.
However, hold the applause, I couldn't control my timing and I came way too early.

Continuation from above.

I noticed that after orgasm my penis really hurt and it felt like I had to go pee. When I went pee it really hurt like I was passing a kidney stone like the size of a golf ball through my penis. It felt opposite of what I just got done doing which was excellent warm, and tight. However, all joking aside, what do you think it is? I used to exercise and I think I have to go back to kegel and jelq to exercise my organ to become as great as I once was. The s*** ex-wife, Brandi, from Florida, is really losing out big-time. If she had something like this woman carries between her legs, she would be very happy at home now with me, as I would eat the corn from her sh*t to be inside her.
I appreciate the help on my way to becoming a great man once again!
