I have been experiencing increasing pain in my right wisdom tooth over the past 2 days. In addition, the right side of my throat has been sore. I am going to make an appointment with my oral surgeon if the problem persist tomorrow. I would advise anyone else experiencing these symptoms to do the same.

Same problem. Just back from my dentist who informed me my lower right wisdom tooth is infected - hes given me a strong dose of antibotics to take - start them just after new year!

i've had the exact same problem.
i noticed my two bottom wisdom teeth coming in about 2 weeks ago, and this past week i've had a severe sore/red throat. I didn't know it the two were linked in any way.
i went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me some antibiotics.
if it persists, i would suggest going to the doctor too, because you might need to take antibiotics to get rid of it.

Same problem with upper wisdom tooth coming in. Lots of pain. Swollen face. Hurts to swallow or open my mouth. Ear ache. Just went to dentist and got an antibiotic and pain meds. When I asked how to tell if it's infected, the doc said if it hurts. Well it hurts. I would get on an antibiotic asap. Our grocery store (Publix) offers them free with prescription.

sounds like tonsillitis or even bronchitis. When white spots appear, this is an indication of a bacterial infection, you need to go to the doctor so he can prescribe an antibiotic to prevent further pain or inflammation. I have had chronic tonsillitis and bronchitis, it is the worst! But get your medication, take some time off and put in as much relaxation as possible. Hope your feeling better soon!

You should ask your Doctor if it might bronchial pneumonia, which is much like tonsillitis even like a sinus infection (sinucitus) but a lot of extra pain, weakness, and possible nausea or vomiting. If it has spread from your chest, it is a likely chance that could be your condition. It would also almost feel like mono, you feel drained and your entire body hurts, possible weight loss, hard to eat, sleep, drink or do anything really so be sure to bring it to your Doc's attention, it is something that should be taken care of as soon as possible to prevent worsening the condition. I hope this helps, I had this condition and was violently ill for months, lost a lot of weight and was in and out of the hospital frequently, so we don't want that to happen to you!

i have the same thing going on..i went to the dentist ALL week and finally they diagnosed me with pericornitis. no only do I have that, im having a stress reaction to it which is now causing a million sores in my mouth. im sick! i lost 7 lbs i cant eat, cant sleep.. cant do anything. your dentist will give you antibiotics. just make sure if you all are experiencing this you been seen right away because i wouldnt want ANYONE to endup in the situation im in right now. CALL YOUR DENTIST.I had one of my teeth extracted last week and the pericornitis is still happening where the tooth WAS.

Just go see your dentist.... it could be just minor, or it could be a little more severe, but thats what their there for... to put you at ease...

Mine is on my right side too and Its red ans swollen and I've been having headaches every day sometimes migraines and i haven't been sleeping well either, my tonsils feel like they do right before you get strep, but I know its not that.......

my right lower jaw is always hurting were my wisdom tooth is its really anoining want it to go
