i tried searching the forums for this and came up empty. I've had sore throats before, but not like this.

My throat is functioning properly. I can eat and swallow with no pain, my voice isn't hoarse, there's no 'lump' feeling in my throat and none of the rawness usually associated with a sore throat.

But when i breathe through my nose or mouth i get a really sore feeling down my throat all the way to the center of my chest. It hurts even if i hold my breath, and hurts even more if i'm lying down or leaning over sideways. I have no other symptoms of illness except for this. Anyone know what's going on, or should i go running to my doctor?
I am having this too and was wondering what it is.

im gonna guess its acid reflex. because not all the time are the stomache symptoms bad. the acid affects your throat and yoursinu's. i went to the dotor and they told me i had acid reflex. i didnt understand. but somehow the acid can destroy your sinus's. its crazy. but look more into it. i hope this might helpsomeone.
