I had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder 7 months ago. I had a stone blocking my bile duct for 6 weeks before it was removed. This was done by ERCP. I had pancreatitis and gastritis and a further endoscopy. For months now I have been suffering very strong spasm like pains, like a punch to my upper abdomen. It is quick but painful and very uncomfortable. It can happen up to 15 times a day. I was put on Omeprazol. I have had ph test showing some acid reflux, but I really don't think this is what is causing my symptoms. I also had a manometry test which was fine.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
