I had my chest xray last july. My xray was good. Then I had my xray again last week for an overseas job. But I am very nervous because I have received the message from the diagnostic center yesterday , they're requiring me to have a spot film left upper lung/lordotic view. Can someone pls give me a brief explanation of what does it mean. Thanks
Hi Summer,
Often there are "artifacts" in x-rays. Things that aren't really there. They want to take an x-ray from a different angle to better "image" a specific part of your lungs.
While it is scary it does not necessarily mean there is a problem. Have the test done to rule out a problem.
Good luck.
Thanks for responding. I went to see the doctor today to undergo the spot film xray. I hope its not malignant because I really need this job. ;)
