ive had a problem for about 7 months now that started with little pains in my lymph nodes under my chin and on my chest. about 4 or 5 months in the pains started to get worse and i was cauphing up very sticky clear salive with little brown spots in it so i went to a doctor. he could not find out what was wrong and a couple of days later i ended up in the er twice within a week because the pains started to reach my heart. and i was having panic attacks. they didnt know what it was either so they referred me to a specialist (ent doctor). he stuck a tube down my throat and thought it was a bacterial infection so he prescribed me 3 weeks worth of biaxen. i must say the pains in my neck and chest went away and i stopped having the panic attacks. it seemed as everything were fine but now 1 month later im cauphin up that same phlem and its so annoying because its SO hard to get out and it feels like i have a hairball stuck on the back of my toungue 24/7 . i try for hours and i get one little peice the size of half a finger nail. i am a smoker and occasional drinker but my dad is way worse than me and never had any of these problems. some one please help me out i been to 3 different doctors and its really starting to get annoying!
First, stop smoking. This will only get worse with that stuff getting into your lungs.

Second, The coloration is stuff breaking off into your mucus. I get different colors based on where and what I have been doing. Brown for dirt or dirty areas, green for fresh cut grass, etc. The infection is breaking off as you cough it out. You could get Mucinex D to help get rid of the sinus infection. Then you can take citirizeen daily to keep it down or away.

However, with the smoking, you keep hurting your lungs. If that is not enough to convince you, add up how much money you spend on cigarettes each week, month and year. It might surprise you.
