Hey my penis head and foreskin is always sticky and I’m not sure why.. if I pull my foreskin back and let air touch it for a about 30 seconds then it goes all dry and the stickiness goes away but then if I put my foreskin back over my head for about 30 seconds then it goes all sticky again.. I’m 14, virgin and I’m really worried that there might be something wrong with me. I also shower a lot and clean down there pretty good(I think) I don’t use soap cause I have heard from a lot of people that it’s not good for your penis. I don’t want to go to a doctor if possible because I would find that so awkward.. also when my penis head is sticky my foreskin doesn’t really roll down my penis head like I see it do in porn and stuff but it sort of peels downwards... also the stickiness is sort of like touching the sticky part of tape... also my penis head is quite sensitive and it hurts when I touch it how ever the pain goes away a little bit when I let air touch my penis head and it goes all dry... it still kinda hurts though...... someone please help.... this stickiness has been with me for as long as I can remember .. thanks

Hi Jacky

You could try getting a mild baby soap to clean your penis it shouldn't irritate your skin just make sure you rinse the soap off good and dry everything good.
After you shower and dry yourself putting a little bit of baby oil on with your foreskin pulled back should help.
The sensitivity will reduce the more you touch it and keep your foreskin pulled back.

Okay thank you I’ll try this... so will the baby oil help the stickiness and if it does is it just a temporary fix or will it be permanent?

With using a mild baby soap and baby oil it will help keep your foreskin clean and hopefully that helps to reduce the stickiness.
You could also look for an ointment at your local drug store.
The foreskin has a natural lubricant smegma so it will keep happening this is just part of proper care for your foreskin.

Putting baby oil on the foreskin will do nothing to help with the stickiness on the glands or inside the foreskin as it will just keep it moist all the time the only time you put baby oil on your foreskin is if you have a tight foreskin to keep the skin supple so it makes it easier to stretch, the guy below also says smegma is a natural lubricant, he is wrong! Smegma is a build up of the natural oil in the skin and also dead skin cells that is why some boys find when they pull there foreskin back for the first time there is a strong unpleasant odor and they also find it is somewhat hard to remove as it has dried out.
The best way to keep your glands dry and reduce the sensitivity is to pull yours foreskin right back as far as you can get it and hold it there when you take a shower and gently wash the glands and inside the foreskin with a mild baby soap, when you get out the shower and dry off pull your foreskin right back again and gently pat it dry and the glands to then leave the glands exposed at night when you sleep so the air can get to it and dry the top layer of skin so it thickens up that way it will help it stay dry and also take away the sensitivity when the glands are exposed an touch anything.

If you have any more questions on it Jacky just ask and I'll answer the best I can.

You will have to do it every day if you keep the glands covered as it will just build up again as it the natural oil in the skin mixed with any precum that may leak out.

I’ve heard from ALOT of people that soap is bad for the penis... is this true

Only if you use a harsh soap if you use a special baby soap it's ment for delicate skin, the only reason they say that is because a harsh soap can irritate it and if you get so in the urethra opening it may sting when you pee for a few times otherwise it will be fine if you do as I said an rinse it off well after.

Okay thank you... I’ll try it tonight.. I have to go buy some baby soap... so is there any point of putting baby oil on as well? Because I have a little bit of a tight foreskin so I’m wondering if it will help

No you only i only tell people to use baby oil when the foreskin is that tight that they can't even start to pull it back.
When you say yours is a bit tight how tight you talking about?

Uhm well like I said when I pull my foreskin down it feels more like it’s peeling down instead of gliding down like normal... I do think that maybe that’s just cause of the stickiness though.. anyway my foreskin can go behind my penis head but if I do it fast it hurts and it can only just get behind it can’t go all the way back down my shaft... it just feels tight pulling it down

It sounds fine to me, if you just keep stretching it to the point of just before it hurts an hold it there for around 50 seconds at least a couple times a day you should find in time you will be able to pull it nearly right down the shaft, it could also be that the frenulum is tight too stopping it retracting any further down.

I also have a little bit of skin that looks like it holds my foreskin and head together a little bit... it’s at the bottom of my penis head and when I pull my foreskin all the way back then I can see it..idk if it’s normal

That's the frenulum I was talking about can also be tight and restrict the foreskin pulling right back until it stretches, every guy has one and even some guys that are circumsissd still have them.
