I just had an surgical abortion with NO sedation on September 28th. A week later I went to the hospital with unbearable pain in my lower back and cramping which made me feel as if I were about to die. When I went to the hospital they told me I was still pregnant. I then went the next day to my OBGYN & she also said i was pregnant. i started my birth control the day after my abortion and received my period in Mid October. Also, I have not indulged in any sexual activity since the abortion. i went to Planned Parenthood this week asking to refill my birth control. At first they said I was NOT pregnant they then called me and told me the next day I was after it sat there for sometime. How can this be?!?! I can't be pregnant, I'm in college ;(

Did you go back to the clinic that performed the abortion? If so what was there response or did you have sex shortly afterwards and think you got pregnant again?
