Even though I'm glad that I'm not the only one and there's others that get this horrible pain I just want it to go away!!! I start to work out and I have to stop n head to the bathroom and feel like the only way it goes away is if I push it sucks that it last 20-30min I feel I get no workout and it unmotivates me to continue then when I finally get up I have blood coming out and no it isn't my period ughhh I hate this sooo much
It is because of exercising too much. This has happened to me in the last few days. It is better to plan exercise routines and do what you can do instead of pushing yourself.
This pain may actually be caused by ligaments in the pelvic floor. Concentrate on taking your belly button to you spine to engage the transverse adominals which will help keep the pelvis stable. To tell if you are doing it correct stand against the wall or lay flat on your back. Put one hanblunder the curve in your back and then concentrate on holding your belly button down. You should feel your back flatten against your hand. Hold fo 5 sec x 10 with equal parts rest. Over time you Weill be able to hold for longer. When exercising reminds youselc to engage them and this should help with the low abdominal side stitch.
I have been getting the same baffling pain everyone's describing and was just wondering if it might have anything to do with having a overload of faeces in the bowel? I've recently bin taking quite a lot of pain relief tablets which cause constipation. Anyone else have this problem.
I have been reading these posts as I have, after years of running (now in my 40's) just started getting stomach ache/queasyness/cramps afer a few minutes running. They are not side stitches (had those many times before) as the pain/queasyness is much more central, and it happens irrespective of when I have eaten (as I some 'runs' (now walks) are first thing am). So happy for any other thoughts on this.
I think this theory is the best one I've read on this thread! I have this issue and it is NOT a stomach cramp (so re-scheduling your food intake will not help). It is a uterine cramping! The same as what you get during periods or labor. There is no mistaking that feeling! I am not sure if it is prostaglandins but I do think the exercise is somehow making your uterus contract. I am going to try out pain relievers to see if this works. I have been desribing this problem to my friends and its good to know I am not alone. I wonder how many women who experience this are taking birth control pills (I am). Maybe there is a link there. . . . .
Whenever I exercise I have these horrible cramps at the bottom of my stomach that seem like period cramps but aren't. What are they?
