Hi I'm 19 and I was taking birth control for about 4 months because I had an irregular cycle (ie each period was 1-3 weeks late). While on birth control my cycles were regular, but about 3 months ago I stopped taking it. My first period was right on time but my 2nd period has been 6 weeks late! I am sexually active, but my boyfriend uses a condom everytime, and I took a pregnancy test that came out negative and i'm not sure if I did it correctly. Is there another explanation for me being so late, or may I have gotten a false-postive on the test?? Please Help me.... Thanks!
your periods are going back to how they were before you started taking birth control. i would just go take another pregnancy test and if it is not negative, then go to the pharmacy and pick up plan-b. you don't need a prescription, however, it will only be affective if you take it no longer than 3 days after you had sex....(i believe, but not positive)
