Im a teenage fairy large male, and for the past year or so ive been getting blisters inbetween my legs that grow and stay until the skin is worn off layer by layer until it bleeds and stays as a open wound for a while before scabbing then fading into a dark purple spot on my skin starting at the size of a quater or nickel before going down to a dime size, it happens weekly, its extremely painful and i didnt realize the degree or magnitude of the occurances and scarring until i got a glimpse of the two areas (on each side of my inner thigh) which is why i came here, does anyone know what this is? the only relevant thing i could find is herpes but i havent had sexual contact yet. and for whatever this is, is there a cure or treatment of some sort?

Do your thighs rub against each other when you walk? If they do, the pimples and sores could be caused by constant rubbing and sweat I suppose.
If not, then this would be a typical case for a dermatologist who can examine your bumps and figure out what they are and if treatment was necessary or not.

Yeah actually they do but it just seems like such a painful wound for something such as skin on skin contact.
They sound like boils or inflamed sweat glands. Try wearing non-brief underwear, go with boxer briefs, they are longer. Make sure you shower daily and dry off real good.

it is not an std, i have the same thing,thighs and rear end.. have gone through biopsys, and a long list of meds to help, it is a form of noduler acne, after a course of acutane, things did lighten, but not completely,get some stuff called draw out salve, place on a bandaid, it will pull it out, much faster, much less pain,also a form of antibacterial gel called clyndamyicin, helps eliminate germs on skin surface that work their way down to the folicle base. the purple scars go away with time. hope this helps, i had to go through years of doctors and pain, just to get that much info
I have the same problem and I still to this day dont know for sure if its a boil or a pimple from my legs rubbing together.. Im a chubby lady and i hav ebeen dealing with these painful boils/ pimples inbetween my legs for about 2 years.. You can go to the hospital and they will remove it and pack it with gause for you and when there all finished thers a nice sence of relif.. So you have nothing to worry about i was told to lose weight and the problem will go away.. its only caused by friction and legs rubbing together being a bigger person.. soo cheer up .. your not the only one!!

If you are sincere about your problem and have previously been circumcised then....
It could be a long term complication of circumcision. Sometimes the cut heals unevenly and a small skin pocket is formed. This pocket can have repeated abcesses particularly if a hair is growing in the skin in the pocket.
Rare, but not unheard of. See a dermatologist.
If you weren't sincere then grow up, it's only funny to adolescents..

WHAT YOU ARE GETTING ARE MOST LIKELY BOILS, BASICALLY HAIR FOLICLES THAT INVERT INTO YOUR SKIN, FESTURES UP WITH PUS, SOMETIMES IT CAN BE CASUED BE STAFF INFECTION. POOR IMUNE SYSTEM DOESN'T HELP, ALOT OF DIABETICS ARE PRONE TO THESEALSO, LOOK UP PICTURES OF BOILS AND DETERMINE IF YOURS LOOKS THE SAME.

Thank you for your posts about the boils. I have been getting these for a year or so. They are painful and also result in a purpleish scar on the skin of my inner thighs. I have also noticed that I sometimes get them on my hips. I did not know what they were and your posts helped me figure out that they are indeed boils. Why do people get boils? I feel like I am a very clean person and is it just because I am overweight? 5'6" and 225 lbs. as a female
Well guys i will say that anybody with this problem must see a doctor i have this a couple of years ago and one of them didnt even healed at all, and requiere Surgery. Boils in skin can be just acne, or any other single problem but sometimes can turn to be a Big Problem. Dont waste your time and money on products from Pharmacy, See a Doctor Firsst.
See a derm. Could be hidradenitis suppurativa.
i got those bumps on my inner thighs toooo . & They hurt bad ): i just popped one & no puss would come out , only blood . but i could see the puss on the surface before i popped it . i have several of them on both thighs , especially my right thigh . they've left big purple scars . i'm not a big girl , i'm really small , just got thick legs . i wish they would go awayy !
My boyfriend has something similar, its between his butt cheeks and very near to his anus. Its two small boil like bumps on either side of his anus, almost directly facing each other, one slightly smaller than the other. They ooze stuff constantly, but sometimes a lot of bloody fluid and pus comes out. Its very scary and he's afraid of surgery because the doctors he's seen all told him the risk of the surgery is incontinence so he's very afraid and so am I. I was wondering if what you took (the draw out salve and clyndamycin stopped it from coming back ? We're desperate and we're gonna buy it asap. really hope it works.
