okay my throat has hurt for 3 days now, and yesterday i looked at it and my throat was red :-P , my tonsils were swollen with puss, and in the back of my throat there were 2 big reddish pinkish bumps and a few little ones. i looked at it today and there was 4 big bumps and a ton of little ones ! i told my mom that i thought i had strep. because she said there are dots in ur throught and she said they werent strep. she didnt even know what they were and shes a nurse. it kind of fills like my throats closing in and it stings terribly :'( . i acatuanly have so bad headaches that i cant walk and im very dizzy.i also have fevers :$ .what is this ?

I know excactly what yall are talking about....where it feels like there are hairs in the back of your throat or just like something is stuck back there. And let me tell you...they don't just go away. The second time I got mine, I did not bother to get antibiotics and thought they would eventually go away. But nope...only got worse. So yes, these bumps are very common and with treatment can go away in two days.

I've had a lump on the back of my throat for two weeks when I desided to go to the doctor when it got bigger. She told me that it was just a swollen lymphnode, apparantly my other lymphnodes were swollen also. I wasn't experienceing any other symptoms besides fatigue and severe headaches, but apparantly I was fighting off a viral infection. It could be what some of you guys have.

i have a little lump in my throat it dont hurt or cause any discomfort im not sure what it is but i see the dentist like once a month and he hasnt ever said ne thing about it so i think its fine but after reading this im going to ask him :-P
Im only 11 and i have some kind of bump on the left side of my throat. Now, i have been sick for the past 2 days and now it is the 3rd. So, it might have something to do with that. During my sickness my throat hurt. i noticed the bump this morinig. Some symptomes of my sickness is head hurting, stomachc hurting on and off, throat hurting, also dizziness. My throat felt weird and i couldnt spit. My mom told me it was normal to have swelling, but my dad is not too sure. My dad told me if it doesnt go down by tonight he might have to take me to the emergency room. I asked him if he could just take me now, but he said no because they might have to cut it out. So, he said that it would save the pain if we just wait to see if it goes down on its own. Now i am getting scared because i am reading all of these things and people saying i could die or it could be cancer or strept! Now i am really worried and want to know what it is. If you have any idea please please respond!!!!!!!
